My DH just can't stand Paul McCartney's "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time" It just drives him nuts. What's the very first one we heard this year? :rotfl2:

Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer! I drove home for Christmas one year in a car with no tape player (long before CD players) on Christmas Day and the only radio station I could pick up was playing this song OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER all day long. :badpc:

I like ALL Christmas songs. The fun silly ones, the wonderful traditional ones, the sweet religious ones. Love them all!

I think for a holiday about love and family it is stupid. Plus my Grandmother died on Christmas Eve so I think it is really stupid

I was going to say that!!! I heard it at 4:30 this morning. It's a terrible song. Why would your dying mother need shoes? Where's the little boys father. And what kind of drugs or bad day do you have to be having to put this little ditty to paper?

There are not many, but I really don't care for The First Noel, as Noelle is my first name and I used to always get teased as a kid when that song would be played. Other than that I like most of them, when they are played after December 1st!

"All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth"

"I Want a Hippopotamus For Christmas"

Any dog or cat "singing" any song...especially "Jingle Bells."

And I'll 3rd that dang shoes song...

I cannot stand "Little Drummer Boy." I don't know why, but I have never liked that song.

Ironically, I really can't stand "Baby's First Christmas", even though this will be my son's first. I don't know who does it, but the past couple years my mom's friend would play that at our scrapbook get-togethers (it was one song on a Christmas CD).

It just sounds so sappy and sugary sweet; don't get me wrong, a baby's first Christmas is a wonderful event, but I just can't stand that song!

Im Dreaming of a White Christmas. The radio stations WAY over play that down here because they think its cute and hysterical because it doesnt snow in Florida. I must have heard it 20 times in one day a few years ago and havent been able to stand it since. Im not crazy about the Grandma Got Run Over by a Raindeer song either. I havent heard the Christmas Shoes one yet. I mainly listen to our christian station when Im not at work so all of the ones they are playing are religious in nature.

Here's another vote for the Christmas shoes song. Nothing quite gets me in the joyous holiday spirit like that song.

Me too! Drives me batty--I think it's because it drones on and on...

Add me to the list of folks who can't stand the Christmas Shoes song. It's silly and sappy!

I hate Santa Baby...both the Ertha Kitt and Madonna versions. Yuck!
