Afraid not - the target date is mid-October. I do not post those specific dates until they are more concrete, but it's the later half of the month.

Thanks for the info, on your site you mention Duffy the Disney Bear arrriving in September at EPCOT, do you know if he's staying for awhile. We are arriving in Nov. (the week before Thanksgiving) and would love to see Duffy, also what country? ThankS!

Bummer...we always seem to be right in the middle of all that stuff. We just missed UP and now Rapunzel...oh, well. Hopefully one day we can meet Rapunzel and the UP characters. Thanks for the great info!!!

That is an excellent question, and on this one I'm completely clueless. I just sort of found out about Duffy on a whim as he does not coincide with a new movie or the regular character changes that will occur in October.

My guess (completely a guess, no insider info) is that they are going to test his popularity with the Florida guests. If people like him they'll include him with the October changes until May, when they reevaluate the characters. He is huge in Japan so maybe they're thinking he'll get that kind of reception here? He'll be dressed in his Sailor suit as well.

I think I heard they were going to put him in Mexico, but as that doesn't make much sense I'm not sure how reliable that is.

From what I remember through merchandise and stuff, pre Princess invasion,:

Mexico- Donald- had a plush of him with a Sombrero and serape- late 90s?

Scotland- UK?- Goofy (I have a beanbag Goofy in a Kilt and tam that was bought in Epcot in 2000)

Japan- Minnie

China- Chip and Dale-My sister has a plush of one dressed in traditional garb from sometime in the 90s
