What characters have you seen at Goofy's Kitchen?

I'm trying to decide if we should eat at Goofy's Kitchen (for breakfast) or the Minnie and Friends meal. Goofy's Kitchen would be more convenient since we're staying at DLH---especially since I suspect that the parks won't be opening until 10:00 when we're there (September). We could do Goofy's Kitchen right at 7:30 and still hit MM at 9:00.

However...I have a daughter who is a huge Minnie Mouse fan, and would love to do a character meal where she's at. Is she ever at Goofy's Kitchen? What other characters have been spotted there? How many do they have at a time? It sounds like Minnie and Friends usually has 6 there, right?

TIA!

Kelly

I am not the best person to offer advice since Im one of those odd people who DID NOT enjoy Goofys kitchen. We saw... didnt interact with a lot of characters. I thought it was a big let down... they didnt make it around to our table. Maybe we had a bad seat, I dont know. Maybe we stunk or something...:confused3
Pluto
Jasmine
Belle
Goofy
Chipmunks (I think)

Lilo and Stitch is our Fave!:)

We have been 3 times over the last few years and always see different people. This last trip we saw:

Pluto
Goofy
Mad Hatter
Chip
Dale
Cinderella

Other trips we have seen:

Aladdin
Baloo
Gepetto
Alice
Belle

On our first trip we saw 7 characters and the last trip we saw 8! Mickey, Goofy, Suzie, Pocahontas, Snow White, and can't remember the others. We have seen Chip and Dale, Cinderella and Alice also.

On our last trip, at dinner, we saw Goofy, Chip, Dale, Pluto, Belle in her non fancy dress, Mulan, and Gideon (from Pinocchio). That was late in the evening (probably around 7:30 or 8).

We've done Goofy's a lot but have never seen Minnie there.

Just did brunch a few weeks ago and saw 9 characters. That's the most we've ever seen.

Goofy, Pluto, Baloo, Alice, Mad Hatter, Chip, Dale, Princess Aurora, Jasmine

On other trips we've also seen Geenie, Aladdin, Mulan and Donald

My experience was much like teacups, basically ignored by the characters. From the characters we actually saw . . . Gipetto (at the entrance), Goofy, Fairy Godmother and my ds thinks he remembers Max.

Storyteller's is our Fave! :thumbsup2

We've seen:
Minnie
Goofy
Max
Pluto
Chip
Dale
Rafiki
Gepetto
Terk (not sure about spelling?)
fox from Pinocchio
Jasmine
Aladdin
Belle in blue dress
Sleeping Beauty
Pocahantes
Fairy Godmother
Snow White
Captain Hook

At breakfast in May we saw:

~Goofy
~Aurora
~Alice
~Chip
~Dale
~Pluto

and according to everyone around us, there was 1 other character from the Jungle Book that we did not get to see roaming around as well. :confused3

We went in Nov for my b-day. It was just my DH and I and the characters stopped by to see me. We saw Chip, Dale, Goofy, Aladdin, and Baloo. There were others roaming around too, but I can't remember who else.

We really loved Goofy's We went fairly early (8am) on a Thursday, so we had a good amount of character interaction. My son (2.5) had a blast.
We saw:
Pluto
Goofy (twice - he came over again to another table and stopped by ours again so my son could hug him some more)
Alice (she even chased my son around, crawling on the benches and stuff - he loved it!)
Fairy Godmother
Minnie Mouse
Jasmine
Other random weasely looking character we couldn't identify.

I thought the food was pretty good and the characters were great. My son had a great time and still talks about it and wants to look at the pictures we took every day.

Thanks everyone! I think we'll go with Goofy's just for the convenience factor. It sounds nice to have the breakfast out of the way, and still manage to be in line early for MM. Maybe we'll have a chance of seeing Minnie at the Ariel dinner if she's not at Goofy's!

Us too, we won't go back to GK. We had the worst time there. We did see the following characters.

Snow White (had a little interaction but not much)
Goofy
Baloo
Pluto
Chip (this was the character with the most interaction, he played with my girls for a bit)
Cinderella

There were others there, they just never came to our table. We would see them walk in and then walk back out but they never came to us. We were seated towards the back near the buffet, didn't seem like bad seats but apparently they were.

We haven't done Minnie yet, I'm going to see if we can get ressies tonight after work. Our favorite character breakfast so far has been Lilo & Stitch with the Princesses coming in second.

pixiewings71 & DangerMouse....that's too bad that you both had bad experiences at GK. Now I'm getting nervous about going back in October! lol But I guess it can be hit & miss with any of these meals. We had such an awesome experience there this past May. We had all the characters that I listed in my previous post come to our table & some of them even sat down & talked with the kids for a bit. Alice was a hoot! :rotfl: She was totally in character & had us all laughing. My very shy daughter would not participate in the pots & pans playing thing with Goofy but stood off to the side watching. Chip (or Dale, I can not recall which at this very moment) saw her standing there, came over to her & played with her one on one slapping their knees & "playing the wall" to make music of their own. It was such a special moment for her. I am really hoping to have a good experience there again!

I hope your visit in wonderful!! I know tons of other people had great times when we were there, we could tell. I think it was just bad seating for us but we won't go back. We'd rather do something with the Princesses anyway or go to Blue Bayou. :)

Ive seen Goofy, Pluto, Fairy God mother from Cinderella, Belle in her blue dress, Aladdin, Gepetto, Stitch, Alice in Wonderland.
