Isn't Good's Food to Go still physically connected to Olivia's kitchen area? They could offer these sandwiches now without modification. As far as ice cream, I'd even settle for a soft serve type thing that had sundaes and banana splits (though hand-dipped with several flavor choices would be much better)

And adding a grill at the Turtle Pond snack bar would be great, along with ice cream and would also be minimum cost.

This is a fantasy change, selfishly just for me! I want to re-design the exercise room at OKW. I exercise almost every day at home & I want to be able to continue my routine while on vacation. But as a FIRM devotee, I rely heavily on VHS tapes & weights. There is no VHS player in the exercise room and DVC refused to allow me to borrow the weights for 1 hr. to do a tape in my unit. They cited "Liability concerns", although I don't quite get the difference between letting me use the weights in the exercise rm. vs. in my unit. So to exercise the way I prefer, I have to transport 3 sets of weights -- 5, 7 & 10 lbs. i.e. 44 extra lbs! I asked about the possibility of setting up a VCR in the exercise rm. & again, there were liability concerns because the TV is mounted.
Recently, I purchased a DVD (WATP) which only requires one set of lighter weights and the WATP weights are filled w/ water and emptied for easier transportation. Alas, no DVD player in OKW rms., so no reason to buy these special weights, since they are too light for my other workouts.
I don't expect popular support for my proposed OKW changes, but as the saying goes...if your heart is in your dreams, no request is too extreme!

Most 1BR villas and larger at OKW do now have DVD players and those that don't will get one with the next remodel of the room (going on at this time).

OKW owner here.

The ice cream/sandwich shop/grab and go food option would be fantastic. It would need to have an air-conditioned eating area.

We visit in the summer and DH has hoofed it to the HH for chicken fingers and burgers to eat in the villa. Bless him! It was way too hot to sit at the picnic tables at the HH to eat. Also no one felt like getting cleaned up to go to Olivias, or changing out of swim suits when we all wanted to continue to swim after a light dinner.

I would like to see packaged salads and cold sandwiches.

Oh, how about muffins and sweet rolls available for purchase on your way back from the parks?
