What cell company do you use...

I need to get a second phone. We have cricket for phone #1 however it sucks when we're traveling...It's only good within our calling area (Phoenix).

A friend had Sprint and they are terrible down here. She has AT&T now and likes it a lot. I like that she has internet access too. I don't need a lot of minutes but I'd like to be able to change my minutes if needed at any time.

Suggestions?

We have Verizon Wireless and really like it. Large coverage area and not many dropped calls.

We have Cingular. We've been happy with them... good service, few problems, affordable plans.

Another vote for Verizon. Opened account when it was Cellular One 10 years ago. Briefly went to Cingular when they had a deal going and got out of the contract early service was so bad. Verizon and Verizon only for me (and no, I don't work there LOL).

We had Sprint but always had trouble getting a signal no matter where we were at. Just recently switched to Verizon. I like them so much better than Sprint.

We love our T-Mobile. No dropped signal and no roaming charges from anywhere in the country.

DH and I both have T Mobile. No problems at all. We did have Cingular and had no problems there either, but his company changed service providers (they pay for dh's cell) for a better rate. When I decided to get a phone I just went with the same as dh.

I've been using Nextel for the past 3 years, and have been pretty happy with the coverage I get.

We have Nextel service with motorola phones and love both the service and the phones. These are the only ones we haven't had issues with over the years and we've gone thru many phones and quite a few services.

I have AT&T and cannot wait for my contract to expire...always drops calls...only 60% reliable at best. There are times when my phone just doesn't ring (or show that anyone is calling) and 5 hours later the voicemail arrives...I can't wait to go somewhere else.

My cousin has Nextel and loves it.

Verizon Wireless. So far, so good. Except for the fact that they extended my anytime minutes from 1000 to unlimited for an extra $10/month that they didn't tell me about until I got the bill. Other than that, I love it!

We have Cingular and have used them for quite a while. The two big companies here are Cingular and Verizon. Sprint and Nextel are here, but their service fades fast the further away from the interstate highway you get. We have another year left on the present Cingular contract and have been thinking of changing, but that depends on the cost. Every time we re-up, Cingular is $5 per phone cheaper than Verizon.

We've had Sprint, Verizon briefly and always end up back with Nextel. They have the best coverage area for us. Verizon couldn't beat their coverage area for us.

I love their phones too! I love the walkie talkie ability too! We live in a dead zone and so is my DH's work and these phones work in both places when other's cell phones don't.

No roaming charges either. Work great at WDW too!

I have Verizon with nationwide and love it. I think I have only lost one call but that was before it connected so no problem. I've had my phone about 2 years but my Mom and sis have had them longer and are still with them.

We have Alltel and HATE IT!!!!

DH and I want to go with Verizon, but we upgraded phones with Alltel back in Jan, thinking that would help the problems that we were having, but no. Their service is crap and they just don't want to admit to it. Along time ago their service was fine, but now, forget it!!!! They tried telling DH and I why we couldn't get a signal in our house for was because we have aluminum {sp?} siding. Ok, whatever!!! My dad also has aluminum siding, has Verizon and can go anywhere in his house and talk on the phone. Now why is that, maybe because Verizon is alot better then Alltel.

Just wish Verizon would run a promotion that they would buy out an exsisting contract if you take out a 2 year contract with them. DH and I would be the first ones in line!!!!! I'm sure they would get alot of new business if they did that. JMO
