What Category Did I Have At BWI?

We booked a standard view at BWI last month. After check-in we went to our room that was overlooking the front entrance and the bus pick-up area, and a whole lot of construction. We asked to be moved since it was very noisy and ended up on the 3rd floor directly above the garden suites. It was very quiet with a view of an interior courtyard.
Was this still a standard view? I don't think so but thought I'd throw it out to the BWI experts that are just passing time until the play-off game this afternoon

It was still considered standard view. BWI only has standard or water view rooms. They either look over the front of the resort or over the quiet pool. Although they don't offer it, yours sounded more like a garden view.

Unless you could see the quiet pool, it was indeed a standard view. These are pics from our standard view room last July. We always request a garden view when booking a standard view at BWI and have never been disappointed
