What candy do you buy in Epcot Countries?

Another vote for Cadbury chocolate in the England pavillion. Italy also had wonderful chocolates, as well as Germany and Norway. Japan also had some interesting offerings. One warning, I did not like the chocolate that the Mexico pavillion had to offer, tasted very weird.

My DD and DH have tried just about every candy sold in Japan and love them all. Favorites are the cookie stick looking things with chocolate on the end and strawberry cream type filling.

ITALY ITALY ITALY!!! I spent $10 on candy there on my last trip, and ate it all within minutes. My favorite are the chocolate hearts (they're like .35 a piece, heartshaped in bright red tinfoil wrap.) The chocolate in Italy is just really creamy and yummy.

Also, England is awesome for candy as well. I love Whispas and Buttonz, I think they're called? (They're Cadbury, which is *awesome*.)

"Flake" in England! It's a chocolate bar, made up of flakes of chocolate. My MIL is from England and used to talk about this candy. Well, DH and I tried it and YUUUMMMM!!

I love the Flake bars!! Spent three months in London and ate Cadbury every day so I got a little sick of it but not Flake! Yum!!

OMG - CHOCOLATE

I'm from Austria (where we make amazing chocolate) so the closest I get to that in Epcot is in Germany!!! Last year in November we went to "Germany" in Epcot and I could not believe my eyes when I found the chocolate Advent Christmas calender!!! Anyone know what I am talking about?

I know exactly what you are talking about. My grandparents were from Germany & we got those every year. Now, I can find them at a store called World Market. The first time I saw them there, I almost died. I was so excited!

I love the Flake bars in England and also something I think is called Twirly Whirly?? It is so good, it twisty caramel thats all covered in yummy chocolate, Cadbury of course! I like a gummy candy from Japan, it comes in 5 different fruit flavors, each flavor is in its own pouch and all the pouches are joined together. They taste like real fruit juice, not super sweet. On our last visit I found a hazlenut/chocolate candy in Italy that is delicious! I like how you can buy the candies individually there. It makes for great little gifts to bring back for people at work. If you don't eat them all yourself first!!

Its Curly Whirly (not sure of spelling, but that is it) in England. Does anyone remember the American "Marathon Bar" (braided caramel covered in chocolate - oh so good)? Well, you can't get them in the US anymore, but they make them in England under the name "Curly Whirly". My sister and I almost died when we discovered these and now we stock up whenever we find them (either at EPCOT or various British Isles import stores we happen upon). They are soooooo good!

I can only vouch for the Cadbury Buttons in England. A friend from the UK sends them often or brings them when she visits. My kids love them. They are small and come in white or milk chocolate (that I know of, anyway). YUM

I too didn't realize there was so much candy out there. I'm adding to the budget now

I agree! I am a candy fanatic and had only sampled the gummy bears from Germany. I didn't know there was so much more at EPCOT. Geez...now I need to tell DH we need to bring more spending money to buy candy. He won't be thrilled.

In London, I remember you could buy a soft serve ice cream from a truck on the street and they'd stick a Cadbury Flake into it. I need to try getting hold of a soft serve ice cream at Epcot somewhere.

I love the chocolate marzipan candy at Germany. I will usually buy a couple of the chocolates with Mozart on the wrapper. They're kind of expensive, but what isn't in Epcot?

plus the haribo sold in either germany or another place is actually made two miles from me in the uk lol

This is a great thread! Does anyone know if they sell the Nestle Aero in Canada? DS 6 fell in love with them on a trip to Niagara Falls this July, he brought 8 home and just finished his last one this week. (I made him spread them out) He will be so excited if they have them.

UK apparently has a lot of great stuff. My favorite is the Allsorts black licorice assortment they have there. It's in a box, and has multi-colored, shaped and flavored versions of candy, all containing at least some black licorice. I don't dare take on that many calories in my non-Disney life! But as one of the few black licorice afficionados in my own Disney cast, I sometimes eat almost the whole box waiting for and watching IllumiNations. YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just have to reply! I love Hairbo in Germany, we were stationed there for three years and I really got addicted to German gummies. I also love European chocolate, any of the chocolates from Germany, Norway, Italy, or UK. Another thing I always get is little lollipops from Japan. I don't remeber what they are called but they come in a package of like 8 different flavors. My brother and I used to get them when we were kids.

I haven't seen the Aero bars at EPCOT. They do have the Nestle Coffee Crisp Funny, Canada is so close, and Nestle is an international company....why don't they make more candy available here in the US?

OMG. I'm going to have to make a list of all these candies to take with me to EPCOT in December.

We can buy Aero bars and Cadbury Flake at our local Stop and Shop - international aisle is the greatest!

Norwegian chocolate - yum! Wish they sold the chocolate eggs with the little toys inside at EPCOT. We got packs of 3 eggs when we were in Bergen, Norway this summer, with Disney toys in them, of all things, LOL!

Norway in EPCOT should have those ice cream freezers that they have all over the real Norway, with the yellow eskimo-girl (OK< not really an eskimo, but she looks like one) logo. Those are the best icecream-bars I've ever had, even better than Mickey Premium bars! They had Disney character ice creams in the freezers too...
