What can you tell me about Jambo Value 1 bdrms?

We were able to get a Value 1 bdrm for our Dec trip. I have never stayed in one before, but for 4 more pts a night than a Savannah studio, I decided to try one since it was available. It just dd and I, so we usually just get a Studio. We stayed at Kidani this past Dec in a Savannah studio and were amazed at the room and the Savannah. But we hated not having a counter service restaurant, so we wanted to try Jambo this time.

I know we will love having the extra room, especially since we are not sure who is coming with us yet. I know they are smaller than a regular 1 bdrm, but I don't know much more about them. Do they still have balconies? What kind of views do they have? I'd love to hear whatever anyone has to say about them.

I had a nice 1 bedroom value with 3 adults. We also had 2 guests who were staying in a studio, and at least one of them would come over in the moring for a cup of coffee, and we found the villa to be fine as far as sitting around enjoying breakfast together.

There was a balcony off the master and I think it was a different balcony off of the living room, but I'm not sure.

The "tight squeeze" was closing the door to the master bedroom while standing inside the bedroom.

The location was over the entrance area, front of the resort, very convenient to the elevators and the busses. We had a pool view.

All values are in the front part of Jambo. You can get savanna, pool or parking lot view and can request view but request is not guaranteed although most are savanna or pool view. They cost fewer points because they are smaller than other rooms. They also do not have the sleeper chair in the living room for a fifth person but otherwise have close to the same furinture as other 1BRs. You get a small kitchen and a washer and dryer. They have porches.

4 savanna view, 4 pool view, and 2 parking lot view 1 bedrooms. The odds are with you for a nice view.

Is it still the case that you can request a specific view? I know it is not guaranteed, but I tried to request a SV with my value studio next December and the CM said they do not take such requests I had thought you could at least request, but knew there was no guarantee. Any experiences?

Ive book a 2 bedroom value and they stated that requests can only be made at check in. But when you think about it, isn't everyone going to request the same thing?
