what can you prebook for Star Wars Day at Sea?

I'm looking online and it seems like as of 2017 you could prebook 3 character experiences... Chewbacca, Darth Vader and C-3PO and R2-D2, along with Jedi Training and a special star wars Bibbidi Boppidi Boutique for both boys and girls.

Does anyone know if you can still prebook these and also if there is anything else available to prebook?

Most reviews I'm finding of SWDaS are much older, I'm not finding much current.

I was on the 1/5 sailing and was able to prebook meet and greets with Darth Vadar, Chewbacca and C-3PO and R2-D2. Other things that can be booked are visits to Bibbity Bobbity Boutique to do a Star Wars makeover, they have these for children and adults (we did the adult versions I got Princess Leia buns.) For kids they have a Jedi training event that can be booked and sells out quickly, so I'd go for that first if that's something you're interested in. I think that's all the Star Wars activities that can be prebooked. Day of you can sign up to race BB8's, they had people with clipboards signing people up in the lobby.

Thanks, that was what I read online. I'm CC gold so hoping I'll be able to get a jedi slot. Not til 2020, I'm a planner ;)

One warning about the character meets/Jedi training activity. They no longer give paper tickets for these activities. It will show up on the app if you use it though. Here's the warning. I signed us up for the Darth meeting at 9:30 and the Jedi thing at 10. I checked the times many, many times before we left for the cruise. The day before our meet/Jedi training on the app it showed 9:45 for the Jedi thing instead of 10. I went to guest service to ask if the time had been changed, they said it was at 9:45. I was afraid we wouldn't be able to get there by 9:45 if we did the Darth at 9:30, so I cancelled the Darth meet. I'm not a SW fan so I didn't care, but my dd and dh wanted to do it. I wan't able to get a new Darth time. We showed up for the Jedi thing a little before 9:45 thinking that was the time for it to start, nope, still started at 10. The 9:45 was for the check-in. We gave them our name and then waited for 20 mins for it to start, however the app and guest services didn't know this. I was peeved about the lack of info. Just wanted to share this in case they still have the app showing 15 min earlier start time.

We are gold now, but were silver when we did this cruise this past Jan. 12, 2019. You should be able as gold to get everything. We only had time slots available on the SW days, but you should be able to get some things on different days if you want. I kinda liked doing the stuff on SW days.

I am silver and had no problem booking Jedi Training and all of the meet and greets. As gold, I would say you are pretty much guaranteed a slot.

Thanks for the warning. I will try to not time anything too tightly to jedi training.

I wonder if the event starts at 10 but they want you to be there 15 minutes early to get the kids set up.

I figured as gold I'd be able to get everything I wanted but it's good to hear confirmation!

They do need some extra time for the set up, but they should have that info at the time you sign up or inform Guest services about it. We got there before 9:45, gave them our name and waited a good 20 mins before they even gathered the kids to do anything with them. We probably would have been able to do both. I could have chosen a different time for the Darth meet before the cruise, but once we were on board, they were all full. We'll be doing another SW cruise next Jan, so I'll just sign up for Darth then, if dd still wants to do it. I doubt we were the only ones who had to cancel a meet because of not knowing about the time mix up. I feel bad for anyone who may have cancelled and won't be able to do another cruise.

Curious if I can ask an add on question to this - we booked last minute for a Mar 2 cruise. All of the character meets and Jedi training are booked up on the site and I’ve been refreshing regularly since we booked last week.

Are there more slots available when we get on the ship, or is out only hope to add ourselves to a waiting list once we’re on the ship?

Thanks for any help.

I also want to add on a question...Do people dress up? One year for Halloween, DH made us Han and Leia (white dress NOT the other one) costumes. Kids were Rey and young padawans. Would we be super out of place weirdos??

We've done 2 SW cruises with a third booked for next year. You will see people dressed in simple t-shirts and people dressed in elaborate costumes that are so nice you won't know if they are passengers or cms!! So no you will not be out of place at all!! I'm not a SW fan so I don't dress up at all. We were waiting for an elevator one time and I was the only person who wasn't in some type of outfit or at least a t-shirt. You will also see lots of ladies/girls with their hair in the 2 sided buns, I might try to do mine like that next year.
