What can you NOT WAIT to do on your next trip?

As my trip approaches (42 days!), there's just so much I can't wait for!
  • Being on vacation, just DH and I, enjoying ourselves
  • Eating a Mickey ice cream
  • First morning PPO breakfast at CP and getting a photo with Eeyore (He's my favorite!)
  • Riding SDMT, which opened a couple weeks after our 2014 trip
  • Going to the Water parks, riding the lazy river, eating the sandpail sundae at Typhoon Lagoon
  • Shopping in the China and Japan pavilions at Epcot
  • Seeing the shows we skipped last time, or like FOTLK which were not running at all
  • Enjoying a cocktail by the resort pool on our first day
  • Riding TSMM more than once. And Splash Mountain. And Haunted Mansion.
  • Going on the cheesy rides my SIL turned her nose up at last time.
  • Dinner at BOG.
  • Being at WDW, not a care in the world, no responsibilities, no routines, just doing what we want when we want.

See the first palm tree

Too funny! That's one of our traditions -- who can spot the first palm tree! It had a different meaning when DD was 4, but now we just laugh ...
This is my first adults-only trip, my first trip alone with my mom, and our first stay at a moderate. But what I'm looking forward to most, on a trip full of firsts, is eating next to a volcano! San Angel, here we come...

Well... besides the obvious things that you mentioned that I'm not allowed to list, lol... we're really looking forward to:

- Haunted Mansion
- Splash
- Seeing FOTLK
- Doing one of the water parks
- TSMM
- Festival of Fantasy parade
- Kali

Really, just doing all the things that we didn't get to do last time, and redoing some favorites!

school bread and seeing what my son remembers from his first trip!
(and hopefully we will have a second baby in tow!)

So many things!

Like others have said, getting a whiff of certain attractions, Pirates, Haunted Mansion.

A new resort - AKL/OKW

Rivers of life

Star Wars fireworks

Hoop de doo revue - a tradition for us.

Trying some new restaurants

Disney Springs

My first reaction is to say "EVERYTHING" but if I had to narrow it down a little it would be to see Wishes. If I had to pick between the new stuff it would be RoL.

I have no tripped planned yet...but mine is more sentimental....watching my son's face light up when we go to magic kingdom.

In one week from right now I'll be enjoying Hollywood Studios in the sun. Woo! Here are the things I'm really looking forward to.
  • Going on Kilimanjaro Safari!
  • Eating at Sci Fi Diner on the first day
  • Being at the Orland Airport, it's weird but it's a favorite of mine
  • Riding Splash Mountain over and over
  • Staying in the park late and watching Wishes from odd spots
  • Monorail trips to Chef Mickeys in the morning
  • Just being in the most magical place on Earth!

For our June 2017 trip - waterparks, a stay at AKL, maybe Wild Africa Trek, and of course all the new things you mentioned you will miss - bummer. Most importantly, being with my family for ten straight days without getting pulled in a million different directions. It's my daughter's graduation trip and could, quite possibly, be our last Disney trip together. :sad1:

I will tell you that this should be a definite yes for something you should try to do if you're interested. We did it on our trip that we just returned from, and it was amazing! We all loved it and had an absolute blast! If you're going in June, I would say to book it but shoot for a morning time if possible since June will be getting into afternoon rain/storm season. Our tour (which was at 12:30) was started and then delayed 25 minutes or so due to a passing thunderstorm. Fortunately the weather cleared and we were able to finish the tour. But we were told that rain and delays are a frequent occurrence in the summer months.

My husband and I will be taking a second honeymoon in May, for four days. No kids! Looking forward to adult beverages, taking our sweet time walking through Epcot and our first time at Le Cellier. If funds permit, we may also book Biergarten as that's where we ate on our honeymoon many years ago.

My job is one of those "you never really leave work" type of deals, and our upcoming trip will be the first "week to myself" in a very long time. We're also going alone, with no kids, and will basically do whatever the heck we want. It shall be grand!
