What can you not wait for in WDW!

the food--I hope it is good...I keep reading lots of conflicting opinions.

I just recently saw a Mickey Mouse Caramel Apple that had red "Mickey shorts" on the chocolate covered apple with ears, and I've got to have ~that~ in October! Woohoo!

I can't wait to share my kids' excitement! I mean I am already excited... over the top really. But as we walk into the park and they see the castle, go on the rides... I just want to be a kid just like them. You can really only do that at Disney.

I also can't wait to try these Dole whips everyone's talking about.

I want to go on Soarin'! I'm a newbie and it's the ride I'm looking most forward to.

We still have a while but we talk about our trip just about every day. Everyone in the family has their "thing" they look forward to. Ours are:
* Driving under the Welcome to Walt Disney World Sign (you know you're home)
* The sight of the castle above the trees - is there anything more beautiful?
* Goofy's Candy Shop
* Space Mountain (we went before the refurb so can't wait to ride the new ride).
* Fantasmic!!!!!
* Crystal Palace ADRs before park opening - it's so nice and quiet.
* Any photo with my kids hugging a Character.
* All 5 of us hanging out and getting along - no fighting! (it's like a dream come true)
* fireworks over the castle

Half the fun for us is the planning - what to do, what to eat, where to go - it brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it!

This is a great thread, because of course we all just can't wait to be there and see everything, but there are definitely a few things that play through my head all day.

The Disney Dining Plan: We've only been with QS before. This is a surprise for my girls, so I can't wait to see all of their faces when we get to the first character meal.

Seeing the look on my DD's face when she sees it all for the first "real" time. She's 3 and we did take her to WDW when she was a baby, but this time she's so into it all, I get very emotional just thinking about it.

I can't wait to see her face when she spots Cinderella's castle and when she gets to meet Belle during our Akerhaus breakfast. Belle's her favorite.

As for me, well, I'm looking forward to our first time at POR and partaking of some of the fun things to do there, like taking a boat ride to DTD & a carriage ride around the resort grounds.

Waking up in our hotel room and knowing that the day ahead of us doesn't involve, work, cooking, washing dishes or paying bills.


Each night ending in fireworks !!!
