We've done IOA before, but it was on our daughter's wish trip 6 years ago, and really we did the right side of the park, nothing on the left. I know we want to do the super hero area this time, but I'm lost when it comes Universal, I'm more of a Disney nerd, but we all love Harry Potter and the Seuss stuff.

The boys are 5 and 9, and my daughter is 12. The youngest is only 40 inches, so I know that takes several rides out for him. We're doing both parks in one day. Thank you!

Have a check of the website and see what rides you and your family may or may not enjoy.......it has park layouts and height requirements for each ride.....it should give you an idea of how to spend your time there.

Sounds like you may miss out the bigger rides.....Hulk in IOA and RRR in the Studios are the only big coasters........Mummy is an indoor coaster, not any big drops, goes fast in bits but the theming is incredible.

Superhero area is so much fin with lots of picture ops around......:thumbsup2

I had a very quick look at your MAW trip....you have a lovely family and your daughter is adorable......the Rapunzel dress especially, she looks so happy! And how lovely she was chosen in Olivanders........your pictures are beautiful and it was a joy to read!

You are going to have a tight day. I would take a look at some youtube videos to make some prejudgements. You may just want to stick to the three areas you've mentioned first, and then see if there is anything else you can squeeze in.

You are going to love Diagon Alley if you liked the HP area in IOA.

Maybe rope drop Despicable Me, head to Diagon Alley. After done with that, ride Hogwarts Express to Hogsmeade. Have lunch at Three Broomsticks and get all you can out that area.

Kids that age like Jurassic Park area. You can skip the headliner ride (scary for the youngest). But the discovery center and outdoor activity area are fun. Then you can finish the day with Seussland. Those rides are good to use as a cool down after a long day.

The superhero area to me is just a street with artwork. The rides are fantastic, but there is little that keeps me interested aside from that.

Awww, thank you! That's part of the reason we're going back, I'd just found out I was pregnant with my youngest (he was a surprise, I had my tubes tied, LOL!) So we wanted to make sure he got to go too. I could go every year, but DH like it, but not enough to go more than every few years.

Thanks for the advice. We're going to sit down this weekend and let everyone pick their top 3.
