what can I use frozen tomatoes for?

Tomato gravy over toast. YUM! My grandmother made this often and it is so good. My mom makes it occassionally. I'll have to ask her for the exact recipe but I found this one on-line. It's very close but I'm almost position they do not use oil.

2 medium tomatoes or 1-14.5 oz can of stewed tomatoes, drained
1/2 to 3/4 cup of self-rising flour, sifted
3/4 to 1 cup of milk
salt & pepper(optional)
1/4 to 1/2 cup vegetable oil or extra virgin olive oil

I would make Marinara sauce, add it to stews that call for can tomatoes or even tomato paste, soup, chilis.
