We loved that age in disney!! Yes, we brought our babies on every ride without a height restriction, which was almost every ride in Fantasyland. And go see all the shows, yes, but beware that some may be too loud. Bring a comfortable stroller from home so baby can take naps right in the stroller! We loved that part. It gave we adults time to have a nice meal while baby slept right next to us.

There are all sorts of rides for 18 months olds! You might want to look at the book "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disneyworld". It lets you know the "scary factor" for a lot of rides and what age they're appropriate for.

I have to say I LOVED that age with both of my kiddos at WDW!!! There are plenty of rides for your 18 month old and lots of shows. I suggest the book "The Unofficial Guide to Disney World with Kids" also. It gives the breakdown of what rides and shows are good for what age limits. It always gives the "scare factor" so you can plan ahead on what you want to do.

We took our DS 15mos. this past New Year's Eve and he went/enjoyed EVERYTHING he was allowed on - even the "loud" things. I have to say though, since we were slow w/the stroller we would normally run late to most shows and such and ended up in the back. This worked out really well as it wasn't quite so loud - DS never had a problem. Also - we never had a bad seat, even sitting in the back - the views were great everywhere and we were first ones out - very important with a wiggly toddler! I think "It's A Small World" was his favorite right along with "Living with the Land" - he loved all the "balls" (aka round veggies LOL).
