What can I do with 100 borrowed points? Concierge collection?

Does anyone know the answer to this question? I have 100 borrowed points that will expire August 31st. It turns out we won't use them... Can I deposit them & use them for either the Disney Collection or the Concierge Collection past September 1st?

You can't do either of those options. But, there is something about depositing points for Interval International options -- I think you could deposit them for a trip up to two years in the future. I'm a little sketchy on the details.

My understanding is no, points must be available in the use year used. You could rent them, use them prior (CC, DC, DCL, etc) or any other option that fits including an II exchange. The ONLY exception I'm aware of is if you plan an II exchange or DCL trip that is two use years away (in this case that occurs after 31 Aug, 2008 but before your 2007 use year starts, you have choices of which use year to pay from and you could them POSSIBLY use these points to pay. Of course you could ask DVC if you could use your once in a lifetime double secret exception and bank those points. I wouldn't given you have so much time to work on this.

You can use them for the Conceirge or the Disney Collection as long as the stay ends on or before August 31st. You must call to make the reservation at least 60 days prior to August 31st (60 day rule).

The only way I know to extend their use past the end of the use year is to use them for something in the World Passport Collection (exchange via II). To avoid restrictions on II use, you should make also try to make those arrangements at least 60 days prior to the end of your use year. If you do it less than 60 days prior to the end of your use year, it wil be considered a late deposit and your II choices will be limited.

Even though the points are borrowed, you can still make a reservation for someone else (and rent the reservation).

If it were me, I think I would try to use them for something close to home - maybe a weekend in NYC to see a play or go shopping?
