My husband works 9-9 on his birthday (this Monday). I am wanting to bring him something or do something at his work. He works at a large dealership. He has his own desk, but it's not in an office. I already got and gave him his present (a laptop). Any ideas on what I could do for him? I know I'll make some brownies or something, but I want to do something else on top of that.
Thanks!!

Are you taking enough brownies for everyone? I think, if you are off work that day, maybe take him to lunch. How about a balloon delivery?
If you can't take him to lunch, how about packing a nice lunch for him with a little note.

How about a cookie bouquet? Have it delivered to work they are really nice.

I run childcare out of my home, so I won't be able to take him to lunch. I always make brownies every year for him to take to work, enough for everyone (3 family size boxes of brownies).
I may try to balloon or cookie delivery, that would definitely surprise him.
Anymore ideas?

They also have "fruit bouquets" that are very nice. The fruit is cut-up and arranged to look like flowers on a stem. Its very nice and a healthy alternative!

I know it sounds silly....cuz normally girls like flowers...but I sent a guy flowers once....and he said it was the coolest thing anyone had ever done for him. Of course, the guys gave him a hard time...but he said he actually enjoyed their ribbing, cuz he knew they were jealous ;)

Balloons!!

Also, if he's working 9-9, can you bring him supper after your daycare kids are gone? Or, call and have a pizza delivered on his supper break!

One year for Valentine's Day I ordered something from Mrs. Fields and had it delivered to DH's workplace. I wanted something that could be delivered for me (I believe they came by Fed-Ex), but didn't want to send flowers or anything like that.

I like the cookie bouquet idea! My Mom sent that to my work on my b-day & they were soooo good!

Or, if you want to embarrass him, how's about a singing telegram!:rotfl:

What about a strip- o- gram. Jk

I once sent my dh a beer basket that included a 6 pack of bottle beer and contained his favorite snack foods. It was such a hit that some of the wives called me at home and asked me to make baskets for their dh's.

This may sound totally silly, but I saw it one time and it is so cute. Check and see if you have singing tellagrams in your area. If you do, they probably have a gorilla suit in stock. 'You' actually get dressed into the gorilla suit (he won't know) and you go with the singing tellagram people and they sing to him while the gorilla (you) dances around him. It makes him embarrased, the co-wrokers love it too, and then at the end you take the mask off and he is surprised it is you! Does that sound crazy & fun or what? :confused3

I just read that you won't be able to go there because you run a business from your home, but I'll leave this up for anyone else to borrow the idea. It is great fun for a mom or dad to do this to their teenager...they get super embarrased!

I recently saw an ad for bouquet made of candy. Looked just like flowers.
