I'm flying Delta on my trip in 29 days, and the website is confusing the heck out of me (and at times, not loading at all). There's just two things I want to know...

1) Can I bring a regular sized bottle of sun tan lotion and a disposable razor. lol We're just going to use the shampoo/lotion at the resort (I assume you still get those at the value resorts?)

2) How much do they charge for checked bags, and how big can my carry on (overhead compartment) bag be?

Thank you in advance!

1. Liquids must be under 100ml in hand luggage. No restrictions for it if it's in the hold. You'll need a travel size suncream for your hand luggage. Disposable razor should be fine.

2. Can't help with that. If website doesn't say and they didn't send up selling information in your booking details (and no-one here pops in with the answer), call them to check.

you'll get better answers if you put this in the transporation section.

1. you must follow the TSA rules. it really has nothing to do with delta.
disposable razors can go in your carry on or checked luggage.
liquids are a different story. if packing in your checked luggage then yes you can take a regular size bottle of sun tan lotion. if packing in your carry on you have to follow the 311 liquids rule which means the container must be 3.4oz or small, placed in a 1 quart size baggie, 1 baggie per person.
yes value resorts have shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap.
personally i like bringing my own products.

2. i have not flown delta so i'm unsure but it should be easy to find on their website.

Regular sized bottle = no. Liquids/gels still need to be at the 3oz size for carry-on. Full-size can go in checked luggage.

Delta's first checked bag is $25, unless you're in first class, at which point the first two are free. Second checked bag is $35. You can pay the fees online before leaving. Carry-ons generally must be 22"x14"x9" or smaller. You can also have one personal item (purse or small bookbag) that can fit under the seat in front of you.

Anything liquid or gel needs to be 3oz or less and fit in a quart zioloc container per person. Disposable razors are fine to carry on.
Size of carry on is 24x11x18..or something like that.... But I'm just guessing as I don't have the paper in front of me..positive about the 24"... Not the other numbers..others will add or correct me if I'm wrong... so stay tuned lol...

1. Either are allowed in your checked luggage. The disposable razor is allowed in carry-on, but not the suntan lotion. (Liquids have to be no more than 3.4 oz bottles.)

2. $25 for the first checked bag, carry-on cannot exceed 45 linear inches (total of length, width and height), including handles and wheels.

Positive about the 24?? (Sound of loud obnoxious buzzer)

Nope. From Delta's website:
Baggage must fit easily in the Carry-on Baggage Check (approximately 22" x 14" x 9" or 56 x 35 x 23 cm), which is located near the check-in counters

I have several 100ml (3.4oz) containers from the travel section of my grocery store (better deal, better bottles than found at Target otherwise I'd just suggest Target) that I decant into. So I have a few sunscreen bottles in carryon, and I put a big bottle or two (in one or two ziptop bags) in checked bags.

The carryon truly depends on the aircraft you are using. Regional Jets tend to have next to no overhead space or under the seat. Now if you ARE on a regional jet and have the typical roll behind suitcase that can fit in the overhead for normal sized jets, they will pink tag them at the gate for free.
Regular big, bulky suitcases will have to be checked, regardless of aircraft size.

Beyond that, if you can, sign up for a Delta American Express card and use it to pay for your tickets. When you do, the first checked bag is free.
