We stayed at the poly in august and stayed in samoa 1602. This was ground floor with a volcano pool view. Exactly what we wanted. You see the whole volcano and nothing more. We wanted this for the 3 ds. I dont know what the last room on that side is, maybe tikimans website lists is specifically when you look up the samoa bldg. The last room down on the pool side is also very close to the door and I did notice alot of people traffic around there before wishes, seems like everyone was congregating in that area, on the beach though, so dont wait to the last minute to go out for viewing. Also note your request on your reservation BEFORE you go. We always check in early so we can have a better chance of having our request honored. Even in aug. we got the bldg. but not the floor or the view. I had to explain to Juan, the great cm about one of my ds asthma and how I needed him close so if he had an attack while swimming he had to get back into the room quick to get hooked back up to the machine. Good luck. I did notice the red haired lady cm is not very helpful, so businesslike and inflexible. Hope you dont get her at check in. Just smile pretty and hope the magic comes your way.
