:goodvibes The kid in you when you visit WDW?The parades really bring it out in me.I am waving and speaking to all the characters like a 5 year old and not ashamed of it one bit.Plus I love getting my photo taken with the characters. When at Disney I forget about bills, work and many of the daily problems we deal with on a daily basis. Just for a short time a few days I am back to being a kid without those problems just soaking up the joy of feeling like a kid. Please share share your thoughts on what brings the kid out in you at Disney.:goodvibes TIA for your replys Danny

I would have to say the excitment in the car as we get closer and closer to The Walt Disney World sign. The kids are yelling YEAHHHHHHHH and I am right along with them clapping and yelling. :rotfl2:

Mickey Premium bars.....I actually get in trouble and have been put on limits by my wife! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I would eat them all day with no meals...if only they had a DDP that had 5 snacks a day and no meals!:rotfl:

Ditto Danny! For me its the same feeling... Its a very magical place that I only feel when vacationing at Disney... No matter what vacation I am on, Disney always holds that special place in my heart.

My favorite part of any Disney trip is seeing the inner child come out of Corey and letting myself be free of the realities of our world.

Seeing Corey run to a line in order to give Pooh a hug. Hearing her laughter and screams of joy while riding the rides. Allowing myself to be moved to the point of tears by the sight of a castle...."my castle." Huggin Mickey and knowing that it's really Mickey.

Just a few tiny reasons why I have no problem in stating proudly, I love WDW and I can't wait to get back again!

It's exactly what the OP said! Whenever a CM or Character send a personal wave or gesture, I can't help but grin and get all gitty. It's like I'm a kid again...

Especially when a CM goes out of there way to make a vacation memory extra special. Here's Kip from the Crystal Palace saving my seat after he "forced" me to parade around cause it was my birthday...

I may have been the tallest and oldest in the parade, but I had a blast waving around my little flag! I would have never had that experience if it wasn't for Kip... it was a vacation highlight for the whole family

For me it would be walking down Main Street towards the castle.:cool1: 2nd would be my first roller coaster ride whichever one that may be - I love them all!! :yay:

For me it's definity the excitement on my boy's faces! When their eyes light up, I become 5 again too!

Everything! But especially the fireworks. Last trip I went to MK on my own twice after getting my little ones settled into bed at the hotel with DH. They were all too tired but I just had to see Wishes as many times as possible. Then when it's over, taking my time strolling down Main Street window shopping.

A close second is riding BTMRR, with my DD's (4 & 6) over and over. We throw our hands up in the air and scream and laugh. Can't beat that feeling! :lovestruc

When I do the "kiddie" rides, like Peter Pan. I get all excited and I act like a 5 year old again. And Philharmagic get's me too. I always stick my hand out to help Donald when he's getting sucked out of the screen, etc. I can't help it. :goodvibes

My kid starts coming out once I'm past the turnstiles. Then the awe sets in....

When you walk under the train startion at Magic Kingdom that takes you around the park, is when it gets to me. It's your first good view of the castle as you look down Main Street USA. It actaully gives me goosebumps just thinking about that. I have taken a ton of solo trips, but this will be my first with my Wife.

Meeting characters really gets me excited!! I've gotten choked up at meeting the Princesses. I got a great picture of me with Donald this past May and I was grinning ear-to-ear. It wasn't my first time meeting him or anything, but I definitely felt like a little kid at Christmas. Same thing when I saw Mary Poppins. I practically ran across Epcot last year when I saw Figment out! My husband thinks it's crazy, but it makes me so happy:cloud9:

The music they're playing in the MK as I'm walking down Main Street. Of course it doesn't really take much to bring out the kid in me!

Definitely the characters!
I absolutely love to go up and meet them and interact with them in the parks! Mickey or Pluto are always there to give a hug and the Mad Hatter always makes me laugh. Characters in general are amusing to talk to and hug and take pictures with. I get extremely giddy like a 5 year old when it's my turn to meet a character.

The attractions posters under the train station do it for me. At the Studios, it's that gas station. Also my first monorail sighting.

Everything! (the smells, the sounds, the fireworks, EVERYTHING) Once we step off into MCO....I do the vacation dance  To have a week or whatever (10 days this year :cool1: ) to think of NOTHING but having a memory making week with my fam. AMAZING is the only word to describe that feeling! From 29 years old to 5 in one second flat!!

I feel like a kid again when I see the characters, when I walk down Main Street in DL or MK and when I go on rides that I loved when I was little. To be honest, I don't think that I've ever really stopped being a kid!

(This is totally off topic, but....... M-I-C-K-E-Y, I LOVE your signature!!!!)
