For me it's walking into the GF lobby and knowing I'm on vacation

and

The opening bars of the SATCD parade

and

The expression on my kids faces when we first step onto Main St.

Anyone else get that overwhelming happy feeling?

Seeing the joy on the faces of the kids who are at WDW on the "make a wish" program and all of the special attention they receive by the CMs. This was especially noted on several trips while watching the Lion King Show at AK. It was heart warming to see the CMs push wheel chairs around with these special guest in them during the kids' parade during the show. I know Disney is magical for all, but even more for these special guest and their families.

Seeing the smiling face of a special needs child being hugged by a "Statue" in Italy. (and then having her ears tickled by the same statue)

It would definitely have to be when my kids meet a Character that they really like!! :)

Tarzan Rocks!

The song "You'll be in my Heart" is a song I always sing to my kids, so when I hear it, it chokes me up!

The lighting of the Christmas tree at MK.

The first time (oh, truth be told) EVERYTIME I hear Standing in Motion at the EPCOT fountain!!

I would also have to agree with the going home answer. When I see the monorail at MCO pull in heading toward the departure terminal, I always feel like bawling. :(

The Golden Dreams section of the American Adventure. I get chocked up by not only the song, but seeing the people who've made an impact on our country.

Walking into the lobby upon checkin. It brings tears to my eyes everytime.

The way they open the park now at MK....with the train and the pixie dust and the music....*sigh*

The bill when it's over!!!!!!!!!!

Actually walking down Main Street the first time on a trip to MK.

I cry sooooooo easily, for me it would have to be when DON"T I get all choked up. The parades (specially the old Main Street Electrical), the music, the kids, Illuminations, Fantasmic, Main Street, kids at character meals, my "MIL" at the character meal!!!!, SOMETIMES, I have to try so hard NOT to cry that my HEAD hurts!!!! You have to understand that I'm the only "female" in the family, so any display of such emotions brings on a few snickers, so I try to avoid it at all costs, but they know when it starts to get hard for me to "talk", I'm close to tears.

I was just telling a friend today about how excited I am to be planning these two trips in the next year and how to "Disney nuts", it's like "therapy". She kind of "blanked" on me, like she really didn't get it, and then I told her the story about the wonderful person that worked at ground zero and how much it helped him and I could barely get the story out. My voice just kept cracking!!! Sometimes I think it's a burden!!!

While heading out of the Magic Kingdom on the last night of vacation..turing to get the final view of the castle and main street. Does it every time!

Watching Beauty & the Beast on stage.

Also, the songs they play with Illuminations.

Seeing all the changes/advances we have made when watching CoP.

Hearing When You Wish Upon A Star - anywhere, anytime

When they had done the fireworks to "It's Time To Remember the Magic".

Festival of The Lion King

So many other things too. :D

I think for me is when I see a show that is interpreted. I enjoy watching the people who are using sign language to interpret for those who are hearing impaired. It makes me feel special just to be able to enjoy this.

For me here are the things so far:

Spaceship Earth towards the end - about moving to a new way of communicating (like this board for example)

The current show (cannot recall the name) in front Cinderalla's Castle in MK especially when Snow White "sings"

Checking out the castle late on an e-ride night and people watching when the MK is really quiet on those nights

Parts of Spectromagic - it is so beautiful

Laughing so hard on Star Tours that I start to cry

The Wilderness Lodge lobby - wow......

Good thread

Thanks

All these posts... seriously, I was just telling my husband that when I read your trip reports and special memories, it brings me to tears. I am so anxious to take our little ones on their first trip to WDW!! We waited a very long time for them and we used to dream of taking our kids to Disney someday. Now someday is only months away. However with as easily as I cry just from these posts, I may be in real trouble once we get there! Thank you for sharing your special moments - I enjoy reading these threads.
