It's not pompous and snobbish - it's the truth. Fake bags look ridiculous. And, even worse, anyone using them is guilty of STEALING. And, even if someone using counterfeit bags was okay with being a thief, you'd think maybe knowing they fund terrorist and other criminal activities would make them just buy a more moderately priced Guess or other type bag. But, no, they want something they can't afford and this is the excuse? Because the "rich" kids get to have them?
As for the "rich" kids not using them so the others don't feel bad. Please. That's the most ridiculous statement I've ever seen. So, someone has something someone else doesn't have, they shouldn't use it?
And, keeping up with the "Joneses" shouldn't involve buying counterfeit merchandise.
Any counterfeit merchandise gets me going - pirated videos, music, clothing, bags, etc. are bad enough. Then these disgusting people started counterfeiting drugs, baby formula, etc.
It all started with harmless t-shirts and bags - pompous and snobbish? If that's what I'm guilty of, more power to me. I'd rather be that then someone who turns the other cheek while they steal and hand money over to terrorists.
If I teach one person how awful counterfeit merchandise is and prevent just one person from not buying it in the future - then, that's a good thing.
To paraphrase: You'll catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.
