What brand of soap do you use?

I used to LOVE Coast but lately it has been irritating me. It makes me itchy, rashy and leaves a bad taste in my mouth (I know that sounds weird, but it does)...so I am in the market for a new soap. Any suggestions? Oh, nothing that smells like coconuts, that gives me a migraine.

I use Tone, it's made by Dial. It's wonderful.
I can't use the Softsoap brand or the Equate (otherwise known as the Wal-Mart brand) brand, because they make my skin break out in a rash.

I buy Ivory bar soap and Ivory Laundry Detergent. DS and I are very allergic to anything else. We get a rash from fragrances and bleach, I can't even put body sprays on. We go through a ton of Ivory LOL
I've been allergic since I was a kid, I remember washing my hari with Basis Soap because that's what the doctor told my mother to buy, Ivory is much milder and nicer smelling!
A lot of people use Irish Spring Aloe, it's supposed to be mild and it smells nice I buy it for DH along with Coast.

When I was a teen I used Dial but had to switch to Dove in my 20's. I can't use anything else.

Dove for Sensitive Skin.

I don't have any soap issues, I just don't think it is good to use some of the soaps that have heavy scents and fragrances in them if you have dry skin. This stuff is pretty mild.

we started using Leaver 2000 a few years ago and really like it! My DH is the only one that uses bath soap, the rest of us use body wash, but he LOVES bar soap. He has tried Dove and Ivory, but needs the Deo. protection.

By the way...a bad taste in your mouth? Don't you know you are NOT supposed to eat the soap :confused3

We've been a Lever 2000 family for years.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Where the heck did you find that? Do you remember Fuzzy Wuzzy soap? He grew "hair" when you used him. When he was almost gone, there was a toy inside him. I'm going to go look for him :bitelip:

Growing up, I could only use Ivory due to sensitive skin or whatever. That stuff tasted HORRIBLE! :crazy2:

Now, I use body washes. Never buy the same kind 2x in a row. I prefer specialty brands, rather than grocery store though. Right now I have a Bath and Body Works Peonies one that is almost pearly-looking, smells great, is super-silky-smooth, and even leaves a clean, slightly floral residual smell that lasts all day. Saves me from having to use perfume which I am still sensitive to.

I haven't used soap in years (except once a week or so I'll use DH's Pure and Natural on my armpits.) I use Jurlique brand skin care products for my face and body. I use their body wash and shower gels, and love them.
