What brand jeans does your 15 year old DS wear?

My son wears a basic Levi's (517).
Size 29/31.

He hasn't worn boys jeans for a long time!

The cheaper Walmart variety jeans just do NOT fit as well or hold up either.
I look for sales and coupons where I can get the Red Tab Levi's.

He has not been into anything more trendy... Aeropostale, or American Eagle... Just these ligher wash Levi's are what really work for him right now.

I am thinking that these Levi's run a bit smaller than some brands.
The 29 waist is def. small enough for him.

I've had good luck with Rue 21. They have great sales like buy one get one for 10 bucks and their jeans are only 20 bucks to begin with. My son likes the skinny jeans and have been able to get him several pairs that are 30x34. He is tall and skinny. Good luck

My son wears 31 waist, I get them at old navy but they are very hard to come by. He can sometimes wear a 32. Wranglers at walmart are a bit smaller in the waist than some 32s and fit him ok. He needs a 30 length. I never thought I would be buying men's jeans for a 13 year old!

I would try old navy or jcpenney, they both have a wide range of sizes.

It's hard when they are thin but tall, my dd is a nightmare to fit for pants. I'm thankful ds is tall but not scrawny like she is. He has just enough meat on his bones that 31 fits.

I think we'd all love to get a pair of $12 jeans for our kids; however, it seems places like Wal-Mart (or even many other stores) do not carry sizes for tall/skinny boys. Sure, you can find a 29 waist but try to find it in a 34 length. Not happening. I couldn't even shop at Target on Walmart for my son until he put on some weight. Now I can at least get him the Levi's Denizen jeans in 32 x 34 (of which they will have ONE pair in the store). If I buy him relaxed fit, forget it, the 32 waist is way too big.

Exactly the problem we have here. I would love to buy my DS jeans somewhere cheaper, but they NEVER have his size. If he wore a 34 waist or higher, I'd have no problem. But a 30 waist with a 34 inseam- not happening! Forget Old Navy too- they don't make a 34 inseam with a 30 or smaller waist. Grrr.

Another person whose DS16 wears American Eagle - 29 x 32. I can usually get a pretty good deal on them. If we go to the store, I do the facebook check-in and get an additional 20% off purchases by showing them the code at the register. My DD told me about it and I use it for everything -- regular & sale price!!

my ds is 15 and we get his jeans at Old Navy. He is a 29 waist and 32 in length, haven't had a hard time finding his size. He wears the Premium denim, slim straight fit....they are fitted, not skinny jeans

Lucky brand from The Buckle. Pricey but they like them. 29x32 and he's short. 5'7" but he's a body builder. Small waist but huge thighs. It's is next to impossible to find pants that fit his thighs. All 3 boys have the same problem with the thighs.

I am having the hardest time finding jeans that fit my son. He always wore Gap kids jeans, but now he is too tall. I took him to the Gap to try on men's jeans, but they didn't have his size in stock, 29 waist and 32 length, so we had to order a pair. Well, they finally came and the 32 is too short and he thinks the waist is a bit too big. Of course I had washed them, so I am not sure I can return them. DS only has 1 pair of gap kids jeans left that fit him, so I need to find more. One pair of his size 18 gap kids boot cut jeans still are long enough, whereas the other 2 pairs in the same style and length don't fit anymore :confused3

What brand does your DS wear? My ds likes a dark rinse and not too tight. He told me that he won't wear Aeropostale.

My 14 year old has a smilar build and is really tall. He loves these jeans and they look great on him. They also happent o be on sale right now!

My DS16 is tall and wiry, so I feel your pain. I don't get a particular brand...as long as the size is right I go with it and luckily, he has no complaints. I usually get him a 30 x 32...the waist is too big but the 29 or 28 waist ride too high. He wears a belt and he's all good. I try straight and not relaxed, which does change the way they fit (too baggy and the dreaded *low rider/boxer showing thing*).

Well, I ordered from American Eagle- older D has some rewards coupons for there and also ordered a pair of levis from Penneys. DS won't step foot into a store during the holiday season after going to get measured for his tux shirt for band and the mall was insane. Actually, I ordered 2 pairs from American Eagle- 29X32 an 29X34. Hopefully one will work and then I can watch for sales. Thanks for all of the ideas and I'm glad my boy isn't the only tall, skinny one out there.
