I always enjoy hearing what everyone is reading. Gives me good ideas.:D

I'm reading "The Perfect Storm" right now. I am in love with the movie, so I decided I should read the book. It's full of crazy little factoids about weather and fishing - much different than the movie - but interesting just the same.:D

I loved The Perfect Storm!

Right now I'm reading Fatal Voyage by Kathy Reichs. Main character is a forensic anthropologist investigating a plane crash. Love her books, this is the 5th one I've read.

Ooh! That sounds right up my alley! I will absolutely read it. Thanks for the hot tip!:teeth:

I just read a very short book called, "NightJohn". Who was the author? The follow up book I just started is called Sarney. DD and I are reading these together. The books are about slavery and very hard to read as far as cruelty and such. They sure make one think....

The book I am reading right now well...let's just say...it isn't your momma's romance LOL. When I am done though I am starting "The Corset Diares" by Katie MacAlister.

Just finished Nora Roberts The Gift and I am half way through Sue Grafton's "R is for Riccochet".

Slavery books are hard to read, although "Roots" is my all-time favorite book. It really makes me think. Makes me think what jerks people were way back when.

And it's so good to see you back again Buckalew!:teeth:

Currently three...

At Home in Mitford by Jan Karon
The Silmarillion by JRR Tolkien
and The Unexpected Legacy of Divorce (a 25 year study, text type book)

Cerulean Sin by Laurell K Hamilton. If you're not familiar with her, she's written a series about a character named Anita Blake, vampire executioner. It's a mix of mystery, fantasy and horror. I think it's quite well written, definitely much better than many of the horror writers out there.

Of the ones of hers I've read, Grave Secrets is my favorite so far. But, this one (Fatal Voyage) is becoming a close second! I've got two more of hers that I haven't read yet.

I LOOVEE her Anita Blake series! Have you read Incubus Dreams yet? It was awesome and man I can not wait for the next one!

I'm reading Encore Provence by Peter Mayle (SP) and HP1 in French.....are you seeing a trend here :)

Remember When by JD Robb (Nora Roberts).

I just finished Loud and Clear by Anna Quindlen, that was one heartfelt book, I like her writing.

Bobbi:D

I am rereading Lavyrle Spencer's "That Camden Summer" and have "The Endearment" and "Forgiving" waiting to be reread next. I just ordered the Disney Cruise Passporter and Birnaums Disney Cruise book, as well as "Why the Sky Is Blue" from Barnes and Noble, so they will be next.

Right now I am reading "Lincoln's War" by Geoffrey Perret. It is really good, but I am very much into the Civil War period so I will read anything about it!! :)

I just finished reading The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. I thought it was a great book - really moving!
