What book are you currently reading?

I am currently "reading" Deception Point by Dan Brown.

Next up is The Jane Austen book Club for the CB Book club. :)

I adore audible.com.

I just started Fingerprints of the Gods--it's very interesting so far.

Let us know how that ends! :teeth:

I just finished reading "Zorro" by Isable Allende. It tells how Zorro came to be. I like adventure stories and I like Zorro. It was pretty good. DH is reading it now and I can't wait til he's done so we can talk about it.

In July I will be reading the latest Harry Potter book - I think I'll do what others are doing - read all the others now to refresh my memory.

I am also very anxiously awaiting the next book by Karen Kingsbury called Fame, it is a continuation of her "Redemption" series - excellent books.

Right now I'm in the process of trying to find the "Redemption" series at a reasonable price - used.. So far, no luck.. I read about them on-line and they sound SO interesting! I just love books that go on and on as a series.. :)

I just finished "The Wrong Baby" by Patricia Kay - and "Matters of Choice" by Noah Gordon..

Right now I'm reading "The Second Silence" by Eileen Goudge..

All three books were great reading!!! :flower:

C.Ann, check out www.frugalreader.com. I can't remember if they had them, but take a look. If not, PM me, you can borrow mine. (But ya gotta return them, I LOVE to read my books over and over... I am such a geek that way!)

Harry Potter-the fourth book
The Art and Science of Fencing by Nick Evanglista
John Cornwell's Breaking Faith: The Pope, the People, and the Fate of Catholicism

"The End of Faith: Religion, Terror and the Future of Reason" by Sam Harris
and
"Whispers and Lies" by Joy Fielding
and
"The Carniverous Carnival" by Lemony Snicket
and
"Demon Haunted World" by Carl Sagan

I always seem to be reading many books at once.

That last one, Barb, is a keeper. It's probably the most important book I've ever read.

I am currently reading "True Believer" by Nicholas Sparks. It is good so far, but it doesn't seem to be as good as his first book, "The Notebook".

I just finished "The Au Pairs" which was a good easy book. A nice beach read which was just what I needed after finishing the semester.
I am working at a local bookstore called Eight Cousins this summer and I get to read the galley books that are sent for us to review and see if we want to stock them when they come out. So today I got a galley called "I have a wicked stepmother, so where is my prince?". It should be another good read.

I really enjoyed reading "True Believer." I agree, it wasn't as well written as some of his previous books. I liked the story though. Sort of a modern day Andy of Mayberry. :)

I just finished reading The Wedding by Nicolas Sparks, it was really cute. Not as good as The Notebook but worth the read. Now I am reading a book by Janet Evanovich in her earlier days called, Full Bloom. I am anxiously awaiting her next book in the Stephanie Plum series coming out this month! yeah. If you have never read her books they are very fun, easy reads!

I'm reading The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, but I'm not enjoying it as much as I'd thought. I also have the Mermaid Chair in my bag ready to start.
