What beach?

We have a spare day and would like to go to a beach, there are 4 adults and 4 children. Which one would you recomend ?

Clearwater for me. Simply because the water is like a bath and the waves are calm. If I remember its shallow as well. Co-co beach is really rough waves its surfing paradise. Also at Clear water you are able to do a speed boat ride which takes you to see Dolphins in the wild.

We loved Clearwater Beach

My favourite beach ever was at Siesta Key near Sarasota. This is a bit further than Clearwater though.

The beaches on the Atlantic Coast are closer in terms of driving time to Orlando but I've never been to one - general consensus is that the Gulf coast beaches are better but I can't personally compare them as I've not been to an Atlantic Coast beach.

Definitely Clearwater - the beaches on the west coast may be further away from Orlando but they are much nicer.

Hi there

When we want a day at the beach we go to Cocoa beach on the Atlantic coast, its about an Hours drive, near to Kennedy space centre.
We love the beach usually has some waves so we buy a cheap body board for surfing, oh and visit Ron Jons surf shop.
