what beach?

Will be staying at Disney World from 6/24 to 7/1,
wife and daughter have never been to a beach south
of one in CT.Would like to take one day and go to one close to DW, is COCO BEACH the one you would suggest,or is there other ones.Any help would be
appreciated.

I have only been to Clearwater Beach on the Gulfside. The sunsets there are spectacular!! The water is really clear and it's really warm. I could swim all the day there. I was debating about going to Daytona or Cocoa beach this year but I really miss the warm water at Clearwater. Also, I've heard that the waves are bigger on the Atlantic side--so that's something to consider with kids. The only beach I've been to in New England is Misquamicut and I say Clearwater blows it away.
