What beach were you last on?

South Padre Island...but that was in 2004...!!! It's been way too long, but just haven't had the money for a vacation.

Hmmm- took me a while to think of the last time we were on a beach! We aren't beach vacation people. 3 summers ago, we were on a Caribbean cruise and spent a few hours on the beach in Aruba. Haven't set foot on sand since then!!

Nauset Light Beach on Cape Cod, Ma.

Was touring the cape for the day and stopped to put our piggies in! :goodvibes

St. Pete Beach last March for Spring Break. Most years we would have just come back from a week at the Outer Banks in NC, but this year we went to Switzerland instead.

My own - here at the lake.. LOL

Other than that, I believe the name of it was "Jensen's Beach" - :confused3 - it was in Florida when I was visiting my brother.. Beautiful! :goodvibes

If by "on the beach" you mean walking in the sand then Castaway Cay is it. If just walking on a boardwalk and being in the vicinity it would be Rehoboth Beach, DE.

Point Pleasant Beach, NJ.

I grew up going "down the shore" in NJ, and am so happy I still live close enough to make it a day trip. We actually go to Pt. Pleasant, Manasquan and Long Branch for day trips often, and vacation (for a week) in Wildwood Crest.

Tenney Beach, here in Madison ... when the algae bloom isn't too bad :). The last "interesting" one was D. T. Fleming Beach Park on Maui for Spring Break.

The Redneck Riviera (Myrtle Beach, SC) - Mid July 2009 :lmao:

:rotfl::lmao::rotfl2:

Having grown up an hour and a half from there, I can say with blessed assurance that this is a pretty accurate description of Myrtle Beach.:rotfl:

Tropical/Ocean/REAL beach? Naples Fl, just this past May for about an hour after getting DD from college and taking her to see my folks who live 6 blocks from it in Naples.
Fresh water /lake beach, last weekend , Chicago, briefy walking along getting from point A to B

OBX....to be more specific....Avon, Frisco and Buxton beaches!!!!!!

LOVE IT there!

Long Beach Township, NJ (17th St. in North Beach Haven, to be more exact)

For us, it was the beach up at the Straits of Mackinac in Mackinaw City,MI. Not a very good swimming beach but it was a great beach to sit around the campfire in the evening.:goodvibes

Love Mackinaw City and Island!!

Last beach I was on was in the state of Washington, couple of months ago. Not sure what the name of it was. It was close to a town called Pacific Beach, WA. Looked the same as the beaches on the southern Atlantic coast.

On Lake Michigan, at my mom's cottage between Saugatuck and South Haven. It doesn't really have a name--we call it "THE beach" and everyone in my extended family knows what that means. :lmao:

I love Jensen's Beach. I was there years ago with my grandmother visiting her cousins. I went surf fishing and caught a Barracuda and then watched the baby loggerhead turtles hatch that night.
I was at Wildwood Crest 2 weeks ago. I tore ligaments in my toe jumping waves and got one of the worst sunburns I've had in years. I had a great time though because I was with my DGS and he makes everything great for me when he is having fun.

Shark Beach just north of Santa Cruz, CA off of Hwy 1.

We usually go to Twin Lakes beach in Santa Cruz which is such a great beach but we wanted to try something new. So we drive down 1 and come upon this very pretty beach that doesn't have a lot of people at it. So we stop and get the stuff out...walk across the road and I realize where we are....Shark Beach...where they actually have permanent signs posted to not get in past your knees as there are sharks in the area! Well, alrighty then...sunbathing and playing in the sand it is! We weren't planning on going in the water anyways because it was a little chillier than we thought it would be but you should've seen my dd's face when she read it and I told her to grab the boggie board. Priceless. :lmao:
