what bars have you enjoyed sitting at and having a drink?

I loved the bar at POFQ-Scat Cat's Club. While sipping a beverage, I can listen to Elliot Dyson and his live jazz. When DH is with me, we enjoy Gurgling Suitcase at OKW. It's so quaint.

Are there waitstaff at Scat Cat's or do you have to go to the bar for your drink?

No waitstaff at Scat cats.. Had a great bartender there and listening to Mr. Dyson play and talk to people was a great way to relax after walking around all day.

My two favs are Victoria Falls at AK and Belle Vue Room at the BW with the latter boasting Disney's best bartender IMO. There's always the Adventurer's Club too if you want to go past the resorts and the entertainment value is priceless.

I dont know if anyone has ever heard of this but i remember reading once about this game people play in Epcot "a drink around the world". Has anyone ever heard of this? I cant remember what board it was on but it looked like fun and I wanted to read about it. Thanks!

My favorite drinks are at the Tambu Lounge, since I really like the tropically ones. My favorite service solo, at a bar, was at Tune-In Lounge.

I have had a blast observing (and participating) in karaoke at Kimonos Lounge at the Swan/Dolphin.

My vote is for Jiko. Great wine. Many that you can't get elsewhere. It is at the entrance so good people watching. And steal the glass and walk out to see the animals.

We also love the ESPN club for Pats and Red sox game. We will be there next week to watch Boston College play

Another New Englander............was with you until you got to that Boston College part :rotfl: - I'm a UConn grad & fan:cheer2: - but diehard Pats and Sox fan.

Anyway - we love ESPN...a majority of the time we in WDW during March Madness, and we arrange our touring around game times! They NEVER rush you if you are there to see a game, which is great. We also like sitting upstairs in 8TRAX in PI having a drink and watching the dancing. It just cracks me up to see the younger crowd dancing to this music - I'm giving my age away but that was the HS/College music I listened to - and a good deal of the "kids" weren't even born then! We also enjoy the Margaritta place in Mexico at Epcot, and we also find it's nice to sit out at the pool bar at our resort (we usually stay at POFQ). Being in the sun and warmth in March sipping a frozen drink, remembering how cold and icy/snowy it might be in CT just makes the experience so much more enjoyable! Last year we even got an early morning call at our resort from my family (well, really my BIL) in CT, telling us that he had just stepped in a puddle of slush up to his ankle in a parking lot, and how he just really "hated" us then because we were in Florida! DH and I high fived each other - our timing was just perfect!

Mizner's at GF is wonderful. You can usually hear the music from the lobby. And they have a great selection of martinis, as well as other cocktails, wines, and beers.

Victoria Falls at AKL is another favorite. The atmosphere is what puts this one over the top.

Scat Cat's Club at POFQ was a truly unique experience. I was actually pointed out for singing along (had a few drinks and didn't realize I was doing it :rolleyes1 ) Great for a little nibble too.

Tune-In Lounge is always nice for a solo. Used to like going for Cocktails in Japan too but you can't any more I don't think.

Great thread!

I have a question for you all that I can't seem to find an answer to. Hopefully, you might have it!

Can you go up to the Cali Grill lounge just for a drink and appetizer, or do you now have to have an ADR for the Grill itself?

Thanks!
