We understand you, Florida Mom. Our DD (5) loves it as well. Personally, for a theme park as good as WDW, the theme totally escapes me. Even Stitch is themed better, IMHO.
I think that Stitch stinks, the speedway was cool before I could drive and there is a lot of space that could be used and other places/rides that are not being utilized in the best way
Carousel of Progress is far more outdated than any of the others mentioned above. However, it's a spendid place to take a nap. Stitch is just stupid; but is slightly better than its predecessor.
Alot of the attractions listed are on my wish list of closures:
1. Sounds Dangerous- but is a great place to nap without the headphones.
2. Journey into Imagination- BORING! Sorry I just don't get the appeal.
3. Catastrope Canyon- did it once never need to go back
4. The speedway- rumor has it when "cars" comes out (06) its getting rethemed, this might help
5. Great Movie Ride- see catastropeh canyon comment
and ....... (putting on my flame suit)........
Kali River.- sorry I just hate it, boring and I've been on much better tube rides. the theming isn't even that good. just not up to disney quality IMHO
In MK, jungle cruise and indy are outdated and take up too much space. That much space could house a major ride and provide more park/play areas like Pooh's play place or Honey I shrunk the kids play area in MGM.
In MK: Cinderellabration, Indy Speedway (it's so darn loud!), Country Bears
In DS: Star Tours, Backlot tour (lame beyond measure!), Great Movie Ride
In Epcot: The Imagination Pavilion and everything in it, all the buildings that are closed when I am there (Energy, Life, Seas), that pedantic and simplistic movie starring Timon and Pumbaa at the Land.
In AK: nothing...I love AK, though I do wish the rides at Chester and Hester's were open to shorter kids.
I know I may be in a minority but I am so tired of Jungle Cruise, Tom Sawyer Island, never liked Stitch anyway, Indy Speedway, and ToonTown Fair. I know that last one is more for the kids anyway but I can't stand it. JC is so old and antiquated that they really need to fix it or get rid of it.
This is really going to start some controversy....I think Splash Mountain is the lamest water ride I've been on. Granted it's cute and all, and now there's a Brer Rabbit movie out. But water rides (specifically flume rides) are popping up all over that have made this obsolete (can you say "I'll Save you Nell!"?).
The real disappointment was Stitch's ride. That person should've been fired.
Well I am going to put my my flame suit on and say It's a Small World. I know everyone else loves it, but I think it's the lamest ride ever. DS hated it and DH (who wanted to go on it in the first place) said it reminded him of a grade school pagaent. Also, it was the only attraction I was on at WDW that I actually felt like I was in just a building. I know most of the rides are in buildings, but I didn't get that feeling anywhere else except IASW.
I like the Indiana Jones show but I have only seen it twice. Seems like every few years they would come up with a different skit.

Well I hope you have an extra suit for me..Small World gets my vote as well! Went through it 2x's as a child- it was my Mom's favorite . Last trip it was closed, ohhhh, too bad !!
