Do you miss most that's no longer at MGM?Mine would be Super Star TV,I really loved that attraction. Danny :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

I've never seen this one but I miss "Doug! Live" I wanted to see that so badly :(

The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Ditto.

And "DOUG-Live!"
It was really an entertaining show with a fun story, good songs, and lots of "heart."

I wanted to see Hunchback also but I got caught up in the Candy store LOL!

Has to be the Hunchback show. Not only was it a real good show, but the theater held a large number of people, helping reduce the crowds somewhat when the show was going on.

Anytime a major attraction is closed in any of the four parks, the lines will be longer at everything else at the park.

Enjoy.

I miss the Golden Girls house, which I think used to be a part of the Backlot tour.

I guess its not a "spoiler" if the attraction is already CLOSED, so:

Wanna know a secret?

I don't want to spoil your FUN...

but did you ever wonder how THAT house was on the Backlot tour at a theme-park that was only begun being BUILT in 1987, and not OPENED until May of 1989...

But the Golden Girls was ON THE AIR in 1985.

Uh-Oh.

But that's OK, TV and MOVIES are not supposed to be "real" anyway.

Hunchback also! It was so well done, I was convinced it was the precursor for a Broadway Musical. It would lend itself so perfectly to a stage adaptation. I don't think the original movie sold a record number of tickets, but the quality of the cast and music was fantastic. Never thought it got the credit it deserved. Oh well, if Tarzan can make it on Broadway, maybe there is hope for Hunchback yet!

Superstar Tv.... I can remember seeing it many years ago and last January I was excited to see it, well whoops I didn't even know it was gone

Disney already has a Hunchback broadway show. They just have not brought it to the US yet.

We saw the Hunchback of Notre Dame show in Sept 2002 and were really impressed, we were 'gutted' when we returned in 2003 that it had been permanantley closed :(

And let's not forget the HILARIOUS entertaining PRE-SHOW for "Hunchback".

The comedian / juggler was always a joy to see... a real crowd-pleaser!

Anyone remember his name?

Doug Live. That is one of our best memories from our family's first ever trip to WDW in 1999. DS, then 9, got to be in the show. I've got a great picture of him with the cast after the show.

He's now almost 16 and hates WDW, so I go alone with his little brother. Sure wish little brother could see that show now. He doesn't remember it.

We never made it to Super Star TV or to the Monster Sound Show... which I regret.

But what we REALLY miss is Hunchback. For us it was MUCH better than Beauty and the Beast. :sad2:
