What area at CSR?

Where should we request that our room be? I don't want to be too far away from the food court or the bus stops.

I don't know if they have preferred buildings, but Cabanas 9B looked pretty good to me.

cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site over the wooden bridge

cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building.

cabana 8b and 9a are inbetween the 2 above.

Cabana rooms are mostly waterview rooms or non parking lot views.

ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

The casitas are close to the gym, spa and have great fountains and courtyards. casita 5 is close to the Dig Site with a good walk to the main building. The lower the casita number the closer towards the main building.

We had a 1st floor cabanas 8A room and I thought it was perfect. We were steps from the pool and it was a nice stroll to the main area. Enjoy your stay, my kids loved the pool!

Even though Cabana 8 & 9 are good choices we request Casitas #3, 3rd or 4th floor.
The courtyard with the 3 Amigos is beautiful, a quiet pool near by, you're close to the fitness center, and your choice of 2 bus stops.
We stayed there this past Nov. and at night the fountains are so beautiful and the whole area is so quiet

I think Casitas is the prettiest !! Close to El Centro (food) and a short walk to pool. It was so enjoyable walking through the beautiful landscaping and the fountains especially when they are all lit up at night !!

We stayed in Ranchos 7B and after long days in the park it felt like we were so far from everything. It would take 30 minutes to go to the food court and back. That was probably the most frustrating part. It wasn't too long of a walk to the pools...it seemed like we were pretty equal distance to the quiet pool and the main pool. And bus stop #3 was really handy. But I dreaded everytime I had to walk to the main building. But it was really pretty...it just sucked coming back into the room and everyone asking "What took you soooooooooooooo long?!?!?"

We stayed in Casitas 4. To be honest I really wanted the Cabanas because I had heard about being near the bus stop/main building, etc. I needn't have been disappointed because Casitas 4 (we were on the top floor overlooking the lake with the Swan/Dolphin hotel in the distant) was perfect. It was less than a 5 minute walk to the main building, next to the quiet pool and gym/salon and right opposite bus stop 2, which is the first bus stop to pick up/drop off, apart from the DTD bus which picks up at bus stop 1 first. To top it all, like others have said, the Casitas is really pretty, especially at night all lit up. If I go back to Coronado again I will definitely request the Casitas.
