Right now I have Via Napoli and Teppan Edo booked for our EP days. I also have a BOG lunch booked (not TS, I know.)

Looking to book maybe 1-2 more during our week, which is one of the busy spring break weeks. The rest will be quick service or offsite. Looking for best tasting food that’s still a (relative) value. Ideas? I’m not opposed to buffets in theory but they always seem pricey to me because we are not huge eaters, especially my kids. It pains me to pay $20+ for them to eat a Mickey waffle or some nuggets.

Whispering Canyon and Trails End are good quality/values. Also Kona Cafe and The Wave, I believe.

Ohana breakfast

SciFi Dine In

Be Our Guest dinner

Biergarten restaurant (lunch is cheaper but same menu I believe)

The Plaza, Beaches and Cream, Sci Fi, any character breakfast (I like Cape May Cafe), Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch

Boma dinner, not cheap but the variety and quality makes it a good value to me. Trails End dinner also.

Yak and Yeti in AK. Boma breakfast (dinner is also delicious but pricey) at AKL. Blaze pizza in DS.

I tend to avoid buffets. I do like Cape May, but that was painful when my 11-year-old forgot that she loved crab legs and refused to eat any.

I like Sanaa for a TS, and I also find that the signature restaurants can be a great value, especially for children. I’d do a signature before a buffet. They seem to cost me less.

The Plaza at MK, Sci-fi at DHS, and Rose and Crown at Epcot.

California Grill (with fireworks) but we order a couple appetizers (usually the flatbreads) and a sushi plate. Reasonable and plenty filling!

DHS Sci Fi provides probably the best themed restaurant and we stick with burgers and sandwiches.

MK Liberty Tree Tavern for LUNCH.

Epcot Marrakesh we enjoy a table full of appetizers and can never finish it all.

AK ....... most the quick service in there offer great food options for lower prices, portions in Satuli' Canteen are big and adults can be more than filled with child's meals.

AK Nomad Lounge with just appetizers and a great atmosphere and decor.

Many of the hotel food courts offer some nice meals for a reasonable amount.

Disney Springs Blaze, D-Luxe Burger, Splitsville all are reasonable good eats.

Thanks all. I forgot to mention that I also have Sanaa booked one evening. We tend to eat dinner out of the park or last thing before we leave. We’re not late night people.

As for specific parks/locations, I’d maybe like an early dinner reservation near MK one night (was thinking Ohana but having sticker shock.) We will have a car. I agree with the poster who said signatures cost less than buffets. I think it’s because the signatures still have normal kids meal pricing and aren’t charging extra for characters.

One last question - can a 10 year old order off the kids menu if it’s a regular TS and not buffet/AYCTE?

Ohana...hands down. Super good food, great atmosphere. Worth the $.

TS:
1. Rose & Crown at EPCOT-Reserve a table near Illuminations and you may get seated with a fantastic view of the show OR they'll escort you to their private standing viewing area. Also, their food is phenomenal.
2. Turf Club Bar & Grill at Saratoga Springs-A less well known restaurant that is very reasonably priced for the quality. Want Yachtsmen Steakhouse quality without the YS price? Head over to Turf Club, plus you can walk over to Disney Springs for after dinner drinks/shopping.
3. Garden Grill at EPCOT-Reserve a table for 9:30am. Before your breakfast, hop on Soarin' with no wait and use your other FP+ for the Frozen Ride/Tesk Track. The breakfast food is the best Disney breakfast food I've had on property, it's all you care to eat and it's on a cool rotating platform. The character interaction is great and I saw Chip n' Dale twice! My family was so full from our breakfast we only needed a light late night bite.

Have you thought about Grande Floridian Cafe? It is not as pricy as others and very good. Might work for your MK/out of the park dinner. Ohana is pretty great too!!

I love the breakfast at Whispering Pines. All you can eat platter is delicious!
