Religion
History ,especially British history from the time of William the Conquerer to the end of the Reign of QE1. Most especially the Plantagenets
True Crime and forensics.

I'm not an expert in any of them,I just like to study them. How about you?

I've always had an interest in Balkan history. Dont' have much time to pursue it these days with the kids being so young, but I'm intrigued by it - especially the former Yugoslavia. Had lots of material to study in the last decade unfortunately too.

religion, sports, true-life adventures, Disney World

Computers and other technology/science, music and other performing arts, cinema and visual arts, popular literature...these occupy most of my time when I'm not on the DIS!

Medicine! I was smart enough to know that I'm not smart enough to be a doctor or nurse, but I love watching medical shows (real or fiction) and I love talking to people who work in hospitals. My sister is an ER nurse and I love listening to her talk about her patients.

History of the ancients, actually really anything to do with ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians, Greeks, Babylonians and so on. I'm reading a book about Pompeii now.

Mythology. My favorites are the tales of King Arthur and Charlemagne.

American history. I particularly enjoy the American Revolution.

European history even though I haven't studied this in quite a while.

Geography. Places interest me.

Mythology. Mostly greek myth.
Shakespeare. I know odd interest but I love his works
Astronomy. I love studying the planets and the solar system.

The Civil War. I love reading anything I can get my hands on that pertains to the topic.

Hmmm... interesting question.

As a Pantheist, I'm spiritually driven to be interested in all questions of reality and truth, as well as in the diversity of people (cultures, which includes their history, but only tangentially -- history only matters to me with regard to how it impact how people are today). Also, my beliefs drive me to be interested in the nature of the physical world, and that has spawned a minor interest in some outdoorsy subjects like hiking and adventure travel.

I also have interests driven by my political beliefs: I'm a staunch capitalist, and very interested in the sciences of economics, business management, and operations management -- so much so that I build my first career on those interests. Indeed, my interest in Disney didn't come from the side of things that most people's interest in Disney came from, but rather came from encountering Disney as examples in my readings on economics and management.

Somehow, I also managed to develop an interest in ancient architecture, and in the nature of taxonomies, such as lines of hereditary rulers.

Added: Full disclosure requires I fill in a detail, regarding my interests related to my religious beliefs. My wife deserves full credit for all of those, because she got me interested in Pantheism in the first place (though she didn't know it was an established belief system until I told her -- that goes back to my interest in taxonomies, including taxonomies of religions :)).

DOGS!! Also colonial and civil war history. I love a good biography too. I just finished a bio of Martha Washington and another of all the first ladies and now I'm working on Marie Antionette. My Dh thinks that's a pretty odd reading list!

Christianity--I love doing an in-depth Bible study.
Disney
Women's basketball--Any level of play! :)
Scrapbooking
A new one for me--History. DD is a history nut and watching some of the shows on TV with her have sparked an interest plus in my tutoring we are doing a history section.

Languages
Archaeology (Mediterranean and Post-Roman Britain/France)
The Hundred Years' War
Medieval Literature
Jungian Psychology/Literary Critique
Animals
Surfing
Physics
Religion (esp. feminist mysticism, all types, but I'm learning about feminist mystical Judaism right now)
Environmentalism

I've found that the more I learn about something, the more interesting it becomes to me. When I was a little girl, my father told me that if I found something boring, I should try to learn all I can about it and it wouldn't be boring for very long. He's right!!

Modern, American, Economic History (hence my interest in Disney)

and

Civil Rights movement in America

the Romantic movement in literature
Customs of the Regency period (Jane Austen, Charles Dickens)
Civil War

Easter Island, lost civilizations, anything about the history of England, Glenn Miller and his band, Vatican and Papal history and odd ball historical facts, like how the fork came to be....
Also, alternate views of history - like what where the women at home doing during the civil war, world war 2 recipe books (how to deal with rationing) - the stuff on the sidelines that is also going on when major things are happening
also internment of Japanese Americans during WW2
