What are your shameful Disney secrets....

For me, Chip and Dales Mickey shaped Pretzels. Yes I know they are pretzels and I can get them anywhere. But they just are not the same.

I love the Chip and Dale trail mix. I buy a bag every day for a snack when I'm in the parks. Then I buy a bunch to take home. It really does taste better than regular trail mix in the store. The pretzels are good too. I buy them for gifts for coworkers. DH says I'm cheap!

No one in my family likes Morocco. I don't get it. boooring.

I like the parades. my family does not. All they do is complain if I try to stop and watch one. Even when the kids were little, they never liked parades.

Animal Kingdom is my favorite park. Yes, I've been in the summer when it's really hot. I go slow, look at EVERYTHING. I's got to be the best themed and finely detailed park.

There, I said it. whew, that feels better.

Ok, I kinduh lied....Magic Kingdom is and will always be THE theme park. I do think Animal kingdom gets a bad rap and is a great park.

I've seen Illuminations so many times that I have it memorized, but I still get chills at the end each time.

Every trip I have to stop by the Norway bakery on my last day and get 4 or 5 sweet pretzels to take home and freeze for when I need a Disney fix

I don't understand the hype about Le Cellier...my mom and I go every year, and every year we say that's it's not that great and that we really don't need to eat there again....yet somehow we always seem to make ADRs there

I love Magic Kingdom but I think it might be just a little more bearable if they served alcohol in that park :rolleyes1

I absolutely hate Stitch...the pins, the ride, the movie...everything.

My disney shameful secrets......

I've never been to the Hall of Presidents ...after 12 trips
I cry every time I see Wishes!
I kinda like Stitch's Great Escape...and the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Room:confused3
I'm not super crazy about Mickey Bars :scared1:
I have absolutely no desire to stay at the Grand Floridian
....and if I had a few thousand dollars to blow...I would totally rent Cinderella's carriage for spin around the Magic Kingdom!

Hmm, there are too many.
- I still scream "Mommy" on It's Tough to Be A Bug, and yes, my parents are FORCING me to go on it this trip.
- I still remember to this day my first ride at WDW on my very first trip - Space Mountain. Let's just say I began screaming "stop the ride, and I am going to jump". Some lady commented on this afterwards, not knowing it was me screaming.
- I have never been on the Hall of Presidents
- I fell asleep on the American Adventure

I couldn't care less if I never saw another parade. Waiting 30+ minutes on a curb in the hot sun to take 40 minutes of video that I'll just fast-forward thru anyway when I get home, fighting for position and trying to get video that doesn't include the head or arm of the person sitting next to me. I'm done with them.

I don't get the fascination with Peter Pan's flight. The ride is over so fast, the animatronics (if you can call them that) are completely lame, the line is always 30-45 minutes. I always ride it once on every trip, but once is enough. Disney traditionalists would hate it, but an upgrade would make sense. Country Bear Jamboreeis also stale for me after seeing basically the same show for almost 40 years (and most of the other versions).

I always skip the Tree House.

Secret loves? I love the character meals, Sci-Fi- Dine in Theatre, Disney classic music (I'm a 45 year old dude with kids), Rainforest Cafe, and the lazy river at Typhoon Lagoon.

I love this thread!

DH and I only watch Disney Resort TV when in our room. Stacy is great. We quote her even at home. I don't like the new format as much though -- not enough silly Stacy moments! I loved several years back when DRTV had the simple music and would say, "Zippity-Doodah Tip for Today".

I always want to go on HoP and Am Adventure but my secret is that I almost always fall asleep even though I'm not trying too!

I love Dumbo but I feel guilty riding it because of how long the line is and how excited all the little kids are.

I've never liked the Socerer's Hat at DHS and wish it would go away.

DH and I love to ride Spaceship Earth over and over just to take silly pictures. (we have always loved the ride -- I also like the burning smell)

I love Figment!! One of my happiest moments (at the tender age of about 30) was see him outside the attraction, hugging him and getting my picture with him in his rainbow room.

I don't like riding Space Mountain at WDW. I keep trying it but it's just not great. The cue is fun to walk through, but the ride could be so much more. DL's version is amazing. I had high hopes for it after its "update" but its not much better.

DISlikes:
-Rainforrest Cafe. The food is not good & the smell. Yuck!
-Captian EO... Singing is his power?
Loves:
-Frozen Bananas!
-Love getting a carmel apple & popcorn and watching Fantasmic.
-Riding TOT at night... makes it scarier for some reason? :confused3
-The Osbourns Family Spectacle of Lights gives me chill bumps.
-The orange smell on SOARIN'

Last time I was at Disney and I rode it's a small world for the first time near the end of my trip and it made me feel like I had enough Disney and I wanted to go home.

I love POC even more then my kids, for this trip I booked my DD with the group of boys to get pirate makeovers when I know she's more into princesses;)

I'm booked meals around my preferences this time, we will be eating with belly dancers and princesses.

I hated hoop de doo...

Don't tell anyone but MK is not my favorite park.....not even second favorite. In fact, sometimes I skip that park altogether.

Hoop De Doo--never again.

Forget the dining plan-if they had a snacks only plan at WDW I would probably buy it. popcorn::

Went on CoP last year for the first time-don't have to do that again.

Love Living with the Land. If given a choice of where to eat at DHS, I would pick Pizza Planet or Hollywood and Vine. Really would rather just get snacks at Writer's Shop and Starring Rolls.

I LOOOOVE the Dole Whips! I'm sad if we escape the MK without having had one. I'm a nostalgic, sentimental sap, too - I have to go on the Carousel of Progress, see the Enchanted Tiki Room, and ride IASW. I had such high hopes for the re-vamp of Space Mountain in WDW after riding the re-vamped one in DL, but it isn't as good.

The one thing that trips our triggers? Rock 'n Roller Coaster. On our honeymoon (4 years ago), the DW and I rode it 17 times in 2 days!!

OK,:goodvibes remember the 1st time you set foot on to main street, staring down it, looking around and seeing Cinderella’s Castle, and getting the warm/ feeling like never before….[ I am now 50 yrs. old, the first time I did this was when I was 12 yrs. old, and the feeling is still there]
There is nothing like it. Then bring my wife there for the first time, I loved seeing her reaction, I was hoping that it would be like mine….she did not disappoint! This is where she came up with the “Happy Dance” She stands in one spot, and bounces up & down on her toes/ smiles/ & claps….the birth of the happy dance!
Things we have to do / get: :surfweb:

Sorcerer’s Hat at DHS, note: I don’t dis like it, but the location….not so good!/
The lines…missing some of the old favorites… 20 Thousand Leagues/ Mr. Toad/
And my #1 dislike is….Leaving ….:sad2:

Robin & Angel "D" :thumbsup2

I hate Dole Whips (My wife loves them, I got one only to honor Bob and ended up letting her have two. Not that she argued or anything)

On our last trip despite being there 8 days we never made it past Canada or Mexico at Epcot.

I can't even look at Mission Space with out tasting the throw up in the back of my throat

I miss E ticket nights and riding Splash mountain 8 straight times with a thunderstorm on the horizon

I have fallen asleep in American Adventure, HOP, and Spaceship earth all on the same day.

I use my 18 month old son as my collection beard, all the Disney stuff is for him wink wink

I would be happy riding the Peoplemover all day
