We all know there are certain things at WDW where it seems like just about everyone loves (Mickey Bars, Le Cellier) or loathes (Nine Dragons, Stitch's Great Escape). What are some of the popular things that just don't seem to give you the warm & fuzzies, and vice versa?

Some of mine are:
  1. WDW pizza - I know a lot of people joke about how horrid it is, but we really enjoyed our lunch at Pizza Planet & are planning to go back on our next trip. Our mouths even water a bit when we see photos of the pizza in the Food Porn threads....
  2. Test Track - I saw numerous promos for this and it always showed the part where you're outside, going really fast. I could not WAIT to ride it. When we finally had the chance in '08, while it wasn't bad, it was NOT what I had expected. I was just waiting for the "thrill" part and when we finally got outside it was over way too quickly. We were both really disappointed, but on our next trip we gave it another shot - the ride stalled right before we got to the big turn. It was an awful feeling, being in the back row and on the inside of the turn, it felt like I was going to fall out.
  3. Turkey Legs - I'm all for people enjoying themselves, and I'm not trying to take anything away from anyone. But, my stomach turns when I see anyone eating them, especially in line and I just have to turn away. I am certainly not a vegetarian by any means, but they're so barbaric looking and well, just gross (IMO, of course).

What are some of yours??

I love Stitch's Great Escape. I think it is absolutely hysterical! :)

See, I used to love Test Track, but when I went on it in September it just didn't seem to be working right! Not only was it much slower in the earlier bends, seriously, like Snow White Adventure slow! It also was incredibly jerky between sections, that it didn't do before, plus some of the audio/video wasn't working. Really disappointed! I didn't want to go back on for our fast passes later in the day, because it seemed like it wasn't working right!

I will think about my ones for a while!

I think Dole Whips are gross.

I think Mickey Bars are vanilla ice cream covered in chocolate that tastes better than it should because of where you are eating and not what you are eating.

I'll think of more.

I absolutely LOVE Primeval Whirl!

I know a lot of people think it's ridiculously turbulent and not at all entertaining, including most people in my family, but I could ride that thing over and over. :confused3

Kevin, they ARE vanilla ice cream bars covered in chocolate. Duh.

I have another. I am addicted to WDW popcorn. I swear it's laced with something.

... and because I let my kids eat them for breakfast.

My favourite ice cream treat growing up were Dairy Queen Dilly Bars. Mickey bars remind me of them.

I totally agree with this!!

Here's one of mine....I LOVE Figment!! I think the ride is great and we always have to ride ita few times on every trip to EPCOT....:figment:

TTA

Captain Cooks for breakfast (because Christy won't get out of bed at 5:00am so we can get to the parks)

The trains near Germany

Seeing KK & John :)

I don't like Le Celier and I don't get why so many people do. I've been there twice, and I thought it was noisy and hurried and average. I much prefer the Yachtsman. Having said that, my most romantic memory in all my WDW trips was walking back to BCV from Le Celier after Epcot had closed. The music was playing and the lake was lit by torches and we were just about the last ones out of the park at the International Gateway. It was just beautiful.

Chicken Parm at Tony's Town Squar. Yummm. The other is Boma breakfast. It's expensive but so damn good.

The one restaurant I don't get is Coral Reef....honestly dislike that place.

The food I love is the frozen OJ bar, sadly I can't find them anymore. Now it's always strawberry.

An attraction I love that doesn't get much love is Living with the Land.

The attraction I loathe is the Tea Cups....don't like spinning.

The ride I don't understand why it is still open is Ellen's Energy Adventure?

Of course I love Figment. Yes version 1 was better but glad the attraction still exists.

I still get goosebumps when I go to the parks.

The attraction that I love - the TTA. I ride it 4-5 times a trip. Sometimes we even make two loops in a row! It is always our first ride of the trip.

I also do not get turkey legs. I like turkey, don't get me wrong, but they look so greasy and disgusting! :scared1: Ever wonder how many calories are in one? I bet you would never eat one again! Answer: Approx 1200!!

Me too! I laugh and laugh, my hubby just sits and holds my stuff, shaking his head ... lol

My first first and last park HAVE to be the MK on each trip. I cry every time I have to go home. :(

I love Ellens Energy ride. For some reason it ranks up there with Carousel of Progress(I realize that some dont like that one but many consider it a great) and Spaceship Earth. Those are the kind of rides that make disney unique. Anyone can do a thrill ride, I go to disney for the stories. I do like almost everything at disney world though. Sounds dangerous is terrible IMHO but I enjoy almost everything for the most part.

Figment is my absolute favorite character too (well tied with Rizzo the rat). Not fond of the ride so much anymore but still love him anyway.

Every time I go to see It's tough to be a bug, I have to have my picture taken with the giant gorilla head inside the tree of life.
