Mine are

1. to lose weight. I want to look good in a bikini. To accomplish this, I am going to eat less and exercise more.

2. to organize and declutter my apt. I will spend at least a couple hours a week going through my belongings, throwing out what I don't want, and organizing the rest.

3. to not sweat the small stuff and have fun!

Try to loose 50 pounds. Not really planned out, but that's my goal, I just have to figure out how.

1. Learn to speak Spanish.

2. Pay off credit card debt.

3. SAVE, SAVE, SAVE!

I really want to go College. I have been saying this for years. I hope this is the year.

To continue to lose more weight.

To return to the organized person I once was. A few parts of my life has lost direction & need attention.

Finish the 1/2 million started & unfinished projects I have going; and try not to start any more new ones. :rotfl:

In 1982 I resolved to stop making New Year's resolutions and have succeeded.:)

1) To get to my goal weight of 137....only 35 pounds to go(using Weight Watchers).

2) To join a gym and exercise regularly.

3) To de-clutter and organize our home.

4) To spend time in my craft/scrap studio working on my unfinished projects.

5) To go out with my DH at least once a month for dinner/lunch/something.

I want to get in better all-around shape and atempt to maintain some semblance of willpower when it comes to dieting. I am WAY too suggestible right now; seeing cookies on TV is enough to set me off. Grr.

I'd also (I think) like to train for a full marathon, ideally the WDW one, but maybe not due to the time requirements (I'm a walker due to horrible knees). I've done 7 half-marathons, all well below WDW's requirements, but I don't know how well doubling the distance will go over.

I need help in that willpower thing too. Good luck to you!

Quit smoking, lose weight, exercise, eat better, stop drinking soda and eating chocolate, floss my teeth, get more sleep, keep my house clean & decluttered, get a primary doctor, go get my medical tests, get my hair cut every so often, and the list goes on....:lmao:

This is too easy.

My number one resolution is to never, ever, drive to New York again and never, ever go to New York (or anyplace north of Florida) any time of year I can't be comfortable in shorts!

We just got back and it's a long story, but I'll save it for another thread.

1. Lose weight
2. save money
3. start booking 2011 WDW trip
4. Watch less TV
5. Work on my future career

Mine are little tweaks. I want to train for a triathlon and try to get my miles up so I have a realistic shot at qualifying for Boston at the WDW Marathon in January 2011. It will be hard to do but I want to at least be in the position to do it at the half way mark. I want to get more sleep and try some new recipes with foods I haven't had yet.

Good luck everyone on your resolutions.

Well, ALL of my resolutions for 2009 were sucessfully completed by November, so...

For 2010, my resolutions are...

1.) To fully furnish our house.

First on the list is the master bedroom... we have a bed and that is it. Not a mattress, not even window treatments!

Second comes the office. So far, we have a desk, a chair, computer and it's components, and a bookcase.

Finally, our basement. We need EVERYTHING but the TV. We also need it recarpeted from the ugly green that is down there to something that actually matches our chosen decor.

2.) To exercise more.

I want to really shape up before our summer vacation. Not really to lose weight, but to tone up.

3.) To eat better.
Enough said.

Mine is to lose weight & get my house in shape to sell. I want to landscape and things like that. I also want to work on saving more money. :goodvibes

Ya know, each and every year, I say....."I'm gonna lose weight". Just like a billion other people. But by Jan 4th, that thought is out the window. I'm taking a different approach this year.....

1- I am going to be more active, period!!! Right now I live a VERY sedentary life (from my job to when I get home), so each day I'm going to strive to get in some type of activity, whether it's a walk, playing the Wii or doing an exercise DVD, SOMETHING!!!

2- To continue putting $$$ aside in my Christmas club. I've had them before but not for very long (a month tops and then I would cancel it for some stupid reason)

3-- I'd like to scrapbook more often this year and try to get as much done as possible. I keep taking pictures, but then they sit and I don't scrap. Need to get in gear on this one.

4-- I already cut grocery coupons (have for many, many years) but I need to find a way to cut down on my grocery spending. $200 a week is just ridiculous. Maybe I will utilize leftovers more often, maybe cook things in bulk and freeze 1/2 of it...not sure, but I need to figure something out.

My goals are not necessarily New Years resolutions but rather on going goals.

1) lose weight
2) Pay off cc debt
3) get rid of more clutter
4) remodel the bathroom and office this year

learn latin, go further with my studies on how to read hyroglyphics and continue with my family tree. Get a full allotment instead of the half I have.

Instead of doing New Year resolutions, I hang a big sheet of paper on the wall on the 1st of the year and as I accomplish things, I write them down.
I'm the type that always would focus on what I hadn't accomplished instead of what I did accomplish, so I find it much more satisfying this way. I save the pages from year to year (all the way back to the late 80's!!!!)

1 - lose weight. I did really good for a portion of this year, but gained some back over the holidays. Ideally I want to lose 50# by next 1/1.

2. - take more time with just my family. Often life gets in the way - cleaning, running around, etc. So, we are joining the community center so we can swim together, play basketball together, etc.

3. - have a no electronics day a few times a week. No TV, no computer at home, nothing but board games. We need it.

4. - get my upstairs done. Needs to be decluttered (it's our catch all room), painted, and set up for my boys to use as a playroom/bedroom..

5. - plan another fabulous family get away. I think vacations are some of the most important things families can do together. We all regroup and spend some great time together!
