Here we are again. A new year, a new start, a new year of goals. Hopefully this year I'll get these done;

1. Since we are renewing our lease here I am converting the guest room into my area. I'm going to put up shelves and get my Disney things out of storage and get them displayed. It will become the 'Disney' room.

2. Set up a scrapbooking area and get started with that. I could open a store with all the supplies I have.

3. Get back on the weight loss and exercise bandwagon. I packed on the pounds when I got sick so now for them to go.

4. Get serious about getting my business up and running. Put that on hold for a bit because I wasn't sure if we were moving or not. Was hoping we were as Orlando would be a better location for it, but I can make do.

5. Keeping this spot open :-)

What are your top 5? (If you have 5)

* Gain weight.
* Drink more booze.
* Go to nudie bar more.

(I like attainable goals.....) :teeth:

I'm the only one? :confused3

I know people set goals every year....c'mon, fess up.

(Sorry Herc, yours don't count. Anyone can meet those goals!)

1. Run the Portland Marathon.
2. Stop spending so much dang money.
3. Along with number 2, stop going to the malls and the Nike Employee Store (where I usually spend about $500).
4. No more going to the bar (although my drinks are usually paid for, it's not good for my studying).
5. Make all coffee at home. No more Starbucks and Dutch Bros. runs.

I can really only think of two things I plan to work on seriously in the coming new year.

1. Lose 20-25 pounds and get back to exercising 4-5 x per week.

2. Get more organization done in the house.

I've done some cleaning and organizing and really love how those rooms look now. I just need to continue with the "junk room" upstairs, the linen closet, walk-in closet, drawers, kitchen cabinets/drawers, etc.

1) Cut back on spending so we can seriously start looking at a new home.
2) Continue to keep my diabetes (juvenile, Type I) in check.
3) Keep re-building a solid relationship with a Person I had long lost touch with, but Who cannot be discussed on these boards. ;)

1.) Lose a little weight for Disney in May!!

2.) Do more around the house to get things ready for Spring.

3.) Landscape out front... should have been done years ago!!!!!!

4.) Save money!!

5.) Try not to let the little things get to me. This is a BIG thing for me!!

My New Year's resolution this year is not to make a New Year's resolution. And since I always break them anyway, I was able to make one and break it at the same time.

Win-win. :thumbsup2

Does it HAVE to be something I can d myself... Or can I ask TPTB to help?

I'd love to get rid of this awful morning sickness.

But what I CAN do...

Renovate my laundry room, finish our basement, put on a new roof, build a deck, add a decorative beam to our vaulted ceiling, and finish decorating our office. And find a mirror for our living room. Of course, all but the mirror will be done by professionals ;)

Is that list too long?

I have just one.

1. Continue the weight loss.

Before our huge trip, I lost 40 pounds. Go me! It was in the plan to eat just okay but not go overboard and not deprive myself for the holidays. I gained six pounds back so it is time to start fresh, just as planned.

I like that you said goals and not resolutions :)

I'll be turning 30 this year so its a big one for me.

1. Getting to my goal weight by the big 3-0.
2. Save money
3. MOVE! moved to a new town this past year and my lease will be up soon and can't wait to move back. Like it here but its not for me.
4. Look for a new job.
5. Knock a couple of things off my bucket list.

I have a lengthy list for general areas of my life as it relates to finance, housekeeping, homeschooling, and personal care...

My top 5....

1. Lose 30 pounds to say goodbye to that baby weight!
2. Follow our budget to a T and not be afraid to enforce it or to be enforced when my husband or I want to deviate and get something that isn't in the budget
3. Finish unpacking and organization from our move. We have a room where remnants were dumped. IT is to be our guest bedroom/homeschool storage room.
4. Keep our renters happy (within our means) so that they will renew their lease in August!
5. Continuing tightening up our house rules. We had started the process last year, but I got very ill with my pregnancy and chaos reined. We restarted that process a couple of months ago, so we will continue tightening that up so that we have a safe, respectable home and somewhat obedient children. No more wishy washy parenting in survival mode. So far so good, but that will be continued and this resolution is actually a summary explanation of some very specific goals for the year.

I think those are my top 5. Some are a summary of specific goals for the year.

1. Visit at least one new country (at the moment it is likely that Italy will be the one).

2. Stay in as many Radisson Blu hotels as possible. We won 365 hotel nights with Radisson Blu to be spent over a 5 year period in any of there 200+ hotels.

3. Invite friends and family over for dinner more often. Last semester was crazy since I was working full time and a full time student (and have 5 kids) and I really missed not having people over as much as we used to.

4. Start excersising and eating more healthy.

5. Go out on date nights more often with DH.

1. Exercise and eat right- as always

2. Redecorate daughter's bedroom

3. Reconnect with some of my buddies and go out for lunch with one of them at least once a month

Ugh.I know what you mean. I had done pretty well with my weight loss, then after Christian got hurt I pretty much gave up. I've gained 5 pounds since mid-december.Bleah.

My goals for the new year are to lose an additional 20-lbs before April, when we hope we can go on a cruise. I want to convert John's old basement bedroom into a girly sewing/craft room. And I want to get the dang grapes & ivy wallpaper out of my dining room and kitchen.:headache:

I usually try to set only 1 "goal" per year(and add it to those I've kept from previous years). This year is to connect with friends I've lost touch with. We used to socialize more than we do now and I want to start seeing people I used to see. I even pinky-sweared one of these friends at a Christmas party that this would be my priority for the new year!

I also try to add something new to my exercise routine - last year it was adding 100 sit-ups 3-4 times a week. I kept that for the most part. Haven't yet decided what to add for new as I'm battling a sore shoulder so probably shouldn't increase my weights until that calms down....

Go back to school.

Finish the painting for my entryway.

Eat healthier.

Make better use of our membership to the Y.

Start a game club.

Be a better friend.

President Obama?

Last year my goal was to save money and move to florida. Goal acomplished

Every year i say im going to start taking vitamins but i cant get it into my routine and always forget. I have started eating breakfast every day.

I want to join some sort of social club so i can meet new people.

I want to save money again so i can buy a house within 2 yrs.

Oh the pressure, ACK!!!!!

I have nothing in mind and do all my restraining for Lent... why add to the deprivation?
