What are your great customer service experiences at Disney?

We just got back from Disney. Three special things happened that made me smile.

1. We were at AK and it was lunch time and my 8 year old wanted a pretzel. Well the only place we were near sold popcorn only so we went up there to buy popcorn. My sister approached and said there is a cart down the way that sells pretzels. The CM confirmed that up the way was a pretzel stand and I thanked her and said my daughter really wants a pretzel so we left. we get to the new cart and well they didn't have pretzels yet and it would be 30-60 minutes before they would have any. So I took my sad daughter back to the other stand to purchase popcorn. The CM asked her what happened and we explained they didn't have pretzels yet and we would just get a bag of popcorn. Emily went to hand her her money and the CM told her keep your money and save it for your pretzel and gave her a free bag of popcorn.

2. We were leaving Magic Kingdom at 11pm. and realized the kids hadn't had anything to eat since noon. Too much fun happening I guess so I decided to grab them some hot dogs to eat while we transport back on the ferry. The lines were long and slow but we waited patiently. The CM was going back between two lines. It was our turn but the guy in the other line got huffy because all he needed was to order a drink and it would only take a second blah blah blah. I was like whatever ring him up next. Another CM asked emily if she like cotton candy or brownies and Emily said Cotton Candy and the CM gave her a free bag.

3. We rode the Rockin Roller coaster and the kids loved it. As we were getting off they were so excited and saying let's do it again, again. The CM said do you want to go again. And they said YES! and she sent us through a door and they put us back on the ride with no wait.

I made a point to talk to all the cast members and greet them by their name. We had a fantastic trip and everyone was so friendly.

Last year we went for my 25th birthday. Two really wonderful things happened

1. I really wanted to meet Rapunzel but when we got to the line it was a 45 minute wait. My BF and I asked the CMs if the time was accurate and they confirmed. I looked disappointingly at my BF who I knew would not want to stand in line that long and said that we could just skip meeting the princesses. The CM saw my birthday button and asked if it was my actual birthday (which it was) I really wanted to see them. I said very much so, and the CM took us to the side of the building and told us to wait there. He came back a minute later and let us in the fastpass entrance. I was shocked and kept thanking him. All he said was, "A princess doesn't wait on line". I felt like royalty!

2. The same trip there was a lot of confusion because my family joined us, and my name appeared on some of my mother's reservations. Needless to say there was a lot of birthday confusion- where my reservations and plans were mixed. My mom had enough when she was out with my sister and father and her dinner menu had printed on it Happy 25th Birthday and they had forgotten to deliver the balloons she had ordered for me for my room. To make up for the errors, the CM at the Sugarloaf arranged a special table for my BF and I. We had reservations at Californai Grill our last night, and the CM set it up so we had a table at the window overlooking the castle. Confetti was on our table and they even had a cake delivered. The maitre d' kept coming by to make sure everything was okay. I thanked the CM a thousand times for that magical evening.
