We usually sorta just go by the seat of our pants but we do have a few we MUST go to. French Market and Paradise Garden grill...did I hear it isn't really closed? Please say yes!!! My husband also loved the Fried Green Tomato sandwich at Hungry Bear but I heard rumors that's gone.

Anyway, Looking to expand our horizons this next visit. So tell me your must food item/place please!

For table service locations, my family really likes the Gumbo and Pomme Frites at Cafe Orleans, the ribs at River Belle Terrace, the fried dill pickles at Carnation Cafe, the house biscuits at Carthay Circle, the lobster nachos at the Cove Bar, and Calamari at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen.

For counter service locations, we like the fried chicken at the Plaza Inn, the beignets at the Mint Julep Bar, the tomato basil soup at the Jolly Holiday (and most all of the desserts), and most everything at the French Market.

There is now a fried green tomato sandwich on the Cafe Orleans menu. Sadly, the Hungry Bear no longer has one of their menu.

I think Paradise Garden Grill did re-open at one point, but currently it's featuring items for the Festival of the Holidays:

After Big Thuner BBQ closed, we're at a place where there's nothing we MUST try. But we do have some regulars. Like Gibson Girl waffle cones....ice cream just tastes better when you eat it at DL...as a meal. We also like to get beignets, preferably at Jazz Kitchen, where there's also some tasty Cajun food.

Hmm, favorite restaurants probably Café Orleans for the Monte Cristo and Pomme Frites, or Cove Café over in DCA. For a snack, I'm a big churro fan :)

My must haves are in DTD - Jazz Kitchen, Naples and Earl of Sandwich (their holiday turkey is the best sandwhich I've ever had!)

We found we really like Hungry Bear this trip and I always have to have a Tigger Tail from the candy store.

Wine Country Trattoria (in DCA) is very good for food and general service. Also (even though it is quite expensive) Catal is recommended too, within DTD.

We always split a churro for breakfast, split a turkey leg for an afternoon snack, stops for treats at Pooh Corner (usually a rice crispy treat but I like them plain and those are hard to find these days so lately I've been opting for the chocolate covered pb&j for an extended sugar rush for the drive home) and we usually leave for Catal for a proper dinner (and a drink). Corndogs are also a good treat.

I'd forgotten a lot of these, thanks guys! Pomme frites have intrigued me. And if they have the fried green tomato sandwich seems like a first trip to Cafe Orleans is in order.

We do love us a corndog!

I love cajun too. I'll have to try there.

Bread bowl soup at Pacific Wharf...Corn Dog anywhere but we like the Corn Dog Castle...Mac and Cheese if they still have it at Cozy Cone or chilli cone queso....Earl of Sandwich I loved the meatball sandwich they had...fried chicken at The Plaza is always good too.

Loved the potato soup at carnation cafe. It was the first time we had tried it and loved it. Have found the recipe on the Internet and can't wait to give it a go at home.

Beignets in the morning for sure, especially after a runDisney event! My brother and I would eat at Napa Rose every meal if we thought our families would let us get away with is, but alas, we are the only two foodies. I love the french toast with caramel sauce at Storytellers Cafe for breakfast. In DCA: The lobster nachos at Cove Bar and if you drink the Smoked Turkey (Wild Turkey Bourbon, Cherry bourbon, lemonade, smoke flavor) at Cove or the Manhattan at Carthay Circle. Haven't had a bad meal at Carthay Circle. In DLR: the fried chicken at Plaza Inn was the only thing that made me finish a meal at the height of my summertime pregnancy. I think that's my only must-do at DLR. In DTD, Uva Bar for a midday break or Catal for dinner.

Earl of Sandwich (based on price vs quality); I get my Corn Dogs at DCA because I much prefer the slightly spicy link sausage corn dog. If you want to spend $$$, Steakhouse 55, Napa Rose and Carthay Circle have never disappointed. Plaza Inn (the 3 of us split the chicken and pasta dish) is always a go-to.

Clam chowder bowl from Pacific Wharf. I don't eat out as much as I used to, but for a while the Chili Cone Quest was a must have as well as dessert from French Market (usually the seasonal cake).

This was our first visit, but our must-have foods for next time will be Pomme Frites at Cafe Orleans and a burger at Carnation Cafe (good value and delicious!).

For snacks, a sweet treat from Jolly Holiday Bakery! A chocolate chip cookie or a Matterhorn Macaroon would be top choices!

Churros!!! My favorite thing to eat at DLR, I usually eat at least one a day. And last time I discovered the churro funnel cake at Hungry Bear, it was delicious.

Almost always eat at Cafe Orleans for the monte cristo and pomme frites, really want to try something else on the menu but always seem to stick with my faves.

Rancho del Zocalo and Bengal Barbecue are my other standbys.

Ok I don't see it but we must have at least one dole whip!!! We also have favorite cs places and snacks that many pp have mentioned. Also the darth by chocolate is amazing but when we were there runs out early in the day. The hot chocolate and goodies in the GCH lobby are great and inside DCA there is one sole popcorn cart that sells fresh caramel corn (walk towards Monsters Inc ride)- the warm caramel corn is wonderful!!

I get my Corn Dogs at DCA because I much prefer the slightly spicy link sausage corn dog.

I second the Hot-Link Corn Dog at Corn Dog Castle at DCA! For an added tip, you can order this a la carte without the chips/apple slices for a cost or food savings.

I personally skip the turkey leg and go for the chimichanga and love me a jalapeño cheese pretzel.

As you can probably tell, usually when I head to the parks it's mostly snacking throughout the day.
