We have to decide where to go in vacation next year. Deciding between Salt Lake City, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone and into Montana or WDW.

That's what we're leaning towards. I wish we could do Glacier too but we'll only have a week.

I booked an award flight in business class on Air Tahiti to Bora Bora. They oversold and I was forced into economy. Had to settle for having my own row and a compensation check for $980.

I can't find a full time job to save my life. Just keep getting temp positions, which aren't really temp. The company just doesn't want to have to give me health insurance or a 401k or vacation time. I still work 40 hours each week for the whole year I wish I could leave but I try really hard to find a full time job but I can't even get interviews.

I would say that qualifies as a legit problem, certainly worse than a first world problem.

Over the weekend, my ice maker quit working. You would think the world was ending. It's only been three years since we've even had an ice maker. Before that, it was trays. My kids feel like they are living in the 18th century. Really??

I had to turn the heat on in my house last night for the first time. It was 59 in the house and I was freezing my butt off, but I felt uber-guilty about it. We haven't had anything on in two months and our electricity bills have been so low!

We went to the mountains this weekend for a vacation and there was smoke from all the fires. We didn't even get to do the hiking we had planned. The roads were all closed off.

Poor us. So, we came home early, to our house out of the burn area.
