I am all sorted with my dress but my fiance is still unsure about what he wants to wear!!!With the Florida heat (we are getting married in August) he doesn't want to get too hot. Can anyone share any ideas/pictures? Also for all you UK brides are your fiance's hiring in the UK or Florida?

We were there about 11 days before.
We stayed at Disney a week, FRiday we arrived, saturday did a fitting, and Wednesday was the wedding.
He chose his suit before hand off there web site.

It will be hot in August. Though he will only need to wear his jacket for the ceremony & pictures. That all lasts about an hour.
It was 80 degress the day of our wedding on 1st March, but we all coped well.

That's my problem i don't know if we will have enough time we arrive Sunday and get married on the Wednesday

You will.
Look for ythe suit you want, and order it on their website. At this point you can arrange a fitting too. They will email you back to say if the day you want is available.
I think they do fittings on a Sunday, but ask.
They are very fast, and I am sure they will accommodate you.
They just drop the suit at Bell services.
After the wedding just drop it back to bell services and they will collect it.
It was really easy.
It's much better than carrying a suit, shoes etc. (yes shoes are hired too, but remember they have different sizing to us in the UK).

He is wearing his sexy uniform! Gotta love a man in uniform:)

We are also hiring ours from Carolyn Allens too! My fiance is getting measured with the bestman and wea re going to order them on the web and get them delivered to our hotel. Saves carrying them out there!

Janine - did you get the whole package with shoes, vest etc? Just wondered what they were all like?

We are also hiring ours from Carolyn Allens too! My fiance is getting measured with the bestman and we are going to order them on the web and get them delivered to our hotel. You can get all the shoes and everything so it really saves carrying them out there!

My DF is going to buy a simple traditional black tux so that he can have it for dinner parties down the road.

My DF bought a nice dark, charcoal ministripe CK suit (on sale!!). This is his first suit and the tux is just too much for him and the ceremony (it's an a.m. wedding). We figured buy a good suit for the wedding and we'll have it for things down the road. Now he has no more excuses...MUAHAHA.

I think there are a few things to consider. My fince is wearing a typical notched black tux with white vest and bow tie but our cereomny is in the evening followed by a reception at a ballrroom. If that is not you guys than there certainly are other options. I think a lovely navy, charcoal or black suit and a nice tie would work for a morning or afternoon wedding plus if you buy a suit (or have one) it can def. be reworn. Hey i have even seen beach weddings where the guy is wearing really nice khaki pants and a beautiful button down...this would work for the beach/sbp/sp/gazebo...so I think it should be what the 2 of you envision plus what he is comfortable in. My fiancee has to wear a suit and tie everyday for work so he wanted something more "formal" so he feels dressed up and not like he is going to work but it is a personal preference. There are a few places (carolyn allens, after hours) in which you can pick the style get measured in your own town than fax them the size. They will drop off the tux at your hotel. carolyn allens and after hours each works a little different because CA is a local shop and there are after hours everywhere so they each have a different system just be aware of that and good luck.

There was a thread awhile back about what the groom should wear and it came down to just what pixie08 said, how formal do you want it, and what will DF be comfy in. We went with a dark grey suit, a shirt and tie in our colors (ivory and burgundy) and it was perfect! It's the only suit he owns and he's worn it a couple times since the wedding (with a different shirt and tie, I retired that tie and it's wrapped up with our other wedding items), so it's been a good investment for us too.

My DF has chosen to wear a tuxedo. He was set on the design below. It took me a while to track down a formalwear shop in Orlando that carried the tux. We are going to rent it from Sacino's Formalwear. Our intimate is at 6pm at the WP followed by the late seating at V&As. He really wanted to get dressed up for the occassion. Good luck with your choice!

We had a casual wedding and my hubby wore a nice silk short sleeved button down shirt and khaki colored pants. He looked great to me!

Now for our VR in a few years he's going to be in a tux. :goodvibes

We're having a casual wedding, so my fiance (and our attendants) are wearing beige linen pants and white button down shirts. I think my fiance is adding a linen vest to his outfirt to distinguish him as the groom. The jury is still out on the panama hat.

My fiance is wearing a beige suit with either a white or light blue shirt underneath. No tie, open collar (one or two buttons). He also wants to wear sandals which is fine by me. We were originally going to get married in Mexico and that was the beachy look that he wanted and I had no problem with him keeping it for our Disney wedding.

DF will be wearing a tux. Like another poster said, he wears a suit and tie everyday to work, so he wanted something more than that to make it more "formal" for him (we are both :teacher: ). We are also working through Carolyn Allens, black tux, ivory vest and tie. He is going to look so handsome... :lovestruc
