I'm finally entering the smartphone world and looking for a great (free or cheap) app to keep track of food intake and such. I use Sparkpeople online already, so I'll probably start with theirs, but would love other suggestions!

I use myfitnesspal on my iphone and it will sync to my comp so I can login there as well.

Cardiotrainer is great for tracking your exercise and calorie burn.

I swear by Noom. You can record, weight, food and activities. Love love love this app! Plus you can listen to the music on your phone while you record your activities. It runs thru the app.

I love MyNetDiary. Most of the foods I eat are in there and if I can't find it, there are some I can scan the barcode with my phone and it will put in the nutritional information. It has a place for me to count my glasses of water (you touch each glass as you drink it), it tells me at the end of the day how I'm doing with my sodium, fiber, saturated fat, etc. It keeps track of what I should be consuming, calorie-wise and deducts the calories I'm consuming so I know where I'm at during the day with my eating. There is a place for my exercise and when it's completed, it will count that in towards my calorie-count for the day. I can enter my measurements in there as I take them and there is even a section for vitamins/meds (I haven't used that section yet).

I also like Workout Trainer for quick ideas for exercises. I haven't used it much but so far, I like it.

If you sign up with MyFitnessPal there are a lot of WISHers on there. It is nice to have the extra support when you don't want to log your food or what not, they are there to help you along.

I really like calorie count. Its free and really helpful. You can look up any food or workout you can think of and find out the calories. It has a tracker feature too. Good luck!
