What are your favorite treats to take home?

Mickey Pasta, Mickey Hot Chocolate, & my hubby likes these chocolate cups filled with Mini M&M's. All bought DTD candy store! YUMMY!!!:wave2:

Has anyone ever tried to bring one of these tubes home? I didn't because I wondered how airport security would react to a tube of powder in your luggage!! But next time we go, my brother-in-law, isn't going, so I absolutely must bring him some back because he loved it as much as I did!!

I have loved reading this post and getting my goodie list ready!

Last trip we brought home the largest tube (as full as we could get it!) for my sister (a large pixie stick fan). We had no problems at all (thankfully, the tube was a little flexable as getting it into our suitcase was NOT something we had thought about when buying the largest one!)

Thanks Chesire!! Usually when I post a question, I tend to kill the thread for some reason. I always get so excited when someone actually answers me!!!

I'll definitely take the luggage size in to account when I pick one for my BIL! Just thinking about that white apple makes my mouth water!!

That's good to know. I was thinking of getting some for my neice but I wasn't sure it tasted good.

I always bring home some of the chocolate squares from Ghiradelli's as well as some tins of Mickey mints.
.

I bought my son the color changing hot chocolate and it was AWFUL. He likes it though, so that's all that matters :)

Does anyone else like the color changing hot chocolate? I would love to buy it for my 22-year-old daughter (chocolate lover). I don't want to buy it unless it really tastes great.

we bought the princess hot chocolate that turned blue and I think it tastes great! We even had a friend pick us up another color on their trip down..

hope this helps..

You guys are making me sick......of envy. We didn't buy any of these little treats while we were there. I will definitely try some of them this next trip. That key lime sounds wonderful.

Oh definitely the Mickey rice krispy treats! My 3 year old loves them and makes sure to tell me they are better than the ones I make at home! ;)

:hyper: These are so good! we buy them at the Poly resort gift shop and they come in a cute hawaii Mickey, Pluto, Minnie theme box. I usually cut the box and make a collage to frame.

These are the best coconut patties around and they are a nice size too!! yummy!!!

Fudge can also be found in Germany at Epcot and the candy store adjacent to the Earl of Sandwich in DTD.

BTW the Earl of Sandwich has freshly-made toasted-to-order sandwiches packed with a variety of meats, cheeses, produce and condiments priced at about $5 each.

I always bring home(and sometimes eat on the way home) The big Mickey suckers from the candy store on Main Street!

Just got back Wednesday and my Hunny Pots didn't even make it to the airport this time! :teeth: Also, I agree that Earl of Sandwich is way high on my list of Disney favorite food places now!

We JUST walked in the door from our week long trip and I'm ashamed to say we came home completely empty handed. Not only that but I couldn't find the pooh cookies anywhere and I don't know if it's my being pregnant or not but my desire for sweets has gone out the window. I didn't want a single piece of fudge the entire trip there. Last night I stood in front of the counter looking at all the flavors and NOTHING APPEALED TO ME!!!!!!!!! I think I need to get my head checked....
We had a great time though!

The mickey mouse ice cream bars are great, but it's very difficult to take them home without serious meltage problems

My favorite thing to bring home are the chocolate covered mickey pretzels. Oh they are soooooo good!! When we go I'll have to bring home some of the other treats I saw on this thread...especially the mickey pasta. Thanks!

We always buy Ghiardelli's nonpariels to take home. Last year my son got the hot chocolate in different colors, so I guess we will be buying them again. Also, the REALLY BIG lollipops from MK. We love the roasted almonds, and one year FEDEX'd them home to my older kids.....yummy

We just got back a week ago from the World! We bought the color changing princes hot chocolate, mainly because of this thread and your recomendations. IT WAS AWFUL!!! It tasted like mint water or something. No one at my house will drink it and we are major hot chocolate drinkers. It didn't taste like it had even a morsel of chocolate in it.

I will definately not waste my money on it again. JUST an FYI!

Kayla :)
