What are your favorite treats to get at WDW?

Dole whips long time favorite. The used to sell chocolate covered bananas in the MK at the ice cream carts. I also enjoy carmel apples, pretzels and shaved ice in Japan.

I am so hungry right now :lmao:

Hey, has anyone had the cream cheese-filled pretzels at MK (at a stand near Dumbo)? Those were awesome!

MK-At Mrs. Potts, the Root Beer float is real good. Also, the strawberry swirl from Enchanted Grove
Epcot-Peach Tart from Norway
AK-agree with the Frozen Lemonade
MGM-M&M cookies from the Writer's Stop, but I'm looking forward to trying the carrot cake ones-I love carrot cake.

i love the mickey ice cream bars at magic kingdom.....also the mickey rice krispies with the chocolate dipped.....:wizard:

MK- DOle whip or the caramel apples at Main St Bakery
Epcot- School Bread- the absolute best
Ak- ???
MGM - popcorn

I like the churros too. The ones in Disneyland are better, but whatever. You can get churros in Epcot, MK and AK.
The bakery in France always has the prettiest stuff.
I'm hoping to try the Dole Whip this time.

These are must haves for my family!!

MK-----Dole Whip, Mickey ice cream bars, glazed almonds, popcorn, Figaro
fries from Pinocchio's Village Haus (I guess this would be considered
more of a filling snack than an actual "treat".)
Epcot--rice cream (Norway), churros (Mexico)
MGM---popcorn, vanilla/chocolate swirl ice cream cone
AK-----churros (again), frozen lemonade, chocolate covered banana, simba
paws (we could not find these during our last trip)
Resorts--zebra domes from AKL (I consider these dessert if I get them from
the buffet at Boma, but a treat if I pick up a pack from the Mara.)

If I had to choose my own "would cry if I didn't get it" personal favorite from those I just listed, it would be the rice cream. Errrr, or the zebra domes :confused3.

That peach tart from Norway has been mentioned twice. I have never really noticed it before. I guess I am too busy staring at the rice cream! I love peaches and this sounds like something I would like to try. Is the pastry (or pie shell) light and flaky as opposed to being thicker and heavier?

There are 2 things I always get during every visit.

1. Ice cream cone at Disney on Main Street...Yumm!
2. Fiesta Margarita's in Mexico at Epcot (although I may have to pass on this one since I will be trying some of the different wines at F&W and I don't want to be too loopy!)

Marshypooh Thanks PhotobearSam!! That was very sweet of you. By the way, I love that photo.

Thanks...it's from our trip in 2001, DH's first trip...

It's looking up at the ceiling of the entrance to Ellen's Universe of Energy at EPCOT.

How did you find the DIS?

Oooohhh I love this!!!!

MK definately the dole whip or those cookie ice cream sandwiches.
Epcot apple tart in france or the kaki gori (sp) shaved ice. Mmmmm
AK Frozen Lemonade
MGM The strawberry parfit (sp) at starring rolls bakery
DTD Hot fudge sundae from Gihardelli or the Volcano at Rainforest Cafe

I have a bit of a sweet tooth. LOL.

PhotobearSam,

DH and I discovered the DisBoards over 18 months ago. My family has been huge WDW lovers for many, many years but we didn't know a forum such as this existed. Imagine how thrilled we were the first time we read these boards! I spend a good deal of time on this site and am absolutely hooked on it. Which is why I never did register!! I was afraid I would never get off!! But now that both of my daughters are in college, I decided this would be the perfect time. Except now they are afraid that I will forget to pick them up on the weekends :scared1:.

MK - FRESH ice cream cookie sandwich (not one from the carts, but from the Main Street Bakery.) They make them fresh with warm cookies! Yummy!!!
Epcot - hmmm, tough one. Like the crepes in France, and beverages from the Margarita Stand in Mexico. But after reading these posts, rice cream is on the list for my January trip.
MGM - popcorn, I guess.
AK - the only snack/treat I've ever gotten here is a frozen banana from a cart.

I have come to the conclusion that I will come home for WDW weighing an addition 500 pounds... LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! but i cant wait!!!!!!!!!! YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!!!!!!!!
