In what order to you like the WDW theme parks? Do you have a different order with kids and w/o kids? Also why do you or do you not like certain parks?

I like:

1. Magic Kingdom

It just captures all that is Disney. The scenery, the castle, the characters, all of it just what i imagine when i think of Disneyworld.

Tie between DHS and AK:

Animal kingdom has Dinosaur and Expedition Everest and they are both awesome rides! They also have the festival of the lion king show which i love. Yes it's hot there, but that's really the only negative for me.

Hollywood studios has rockin' roller coaster and tower of terror, my two favorite rides. It also has the voyage or the little mermaid ride and fantasmic, which i love.

4. Epcot

Ehh.....I guess i'm not very refined because at 31, epcot still bores me. It has some fun things, honey i shrunk the audience, test track, soarin', and if you kid free i like to walk around showcase, but i'm always EXHAUSTED walking to all the countries. I don't think its very disney themed and there's not so much for small kids. But i like nemo and turtle talk with crush for them.

OK here is my order I only go with my DD so, it's with kids

1. MK, we just love this place. We plan to spend the majority of our time here.

2. DHS, she, well we, really enjoy this.

3. AK, not too much to do here, but we enjoy it.

4. Epcot, WE actually are not planning on going here, unless we really have the time. Neither one really cared for this when we were there in 06. We enjoyed Turtle talk and the living seas, but that was it. I agree with PP that it was kind of boring.

Magic Kingdom brought tears to my eyes when we first walked through the gates. Here was this magical place that I'd grown up with and now for the first time, I was experiencing it and so were my children. I just kind of stood there staring in awe as I looked down Main Street at the castle and the hustle and bustle of people to and fro. It was surreal. All of these characters and stories that were such a big part of our childhoods' were right here to touch, to smell, to taste, to experience. That will always make it my favourite.
My second favourites are tied between Epcot and DHS. I found so many things that I loved about them. Epcot was so big we didn't see everything. DHS was so charming. Both of them so different but kept my attention through every corner.
Animal Kingdom was alright. We didn't see any shows but we did the headline attractions. I really enjoyed the entertainers and whatnot but we're not going back this September. And WHY is it so much hotter than everywhere else? I mean, there are lots of shaded places but it's still unbelievably hot! It's like they blow in extra hot air or something!! I went on Expedition Everest just to cool down!:rotfl2:

1. MK! It is awesome and has so many fun and different personalities to entertain the whole family all day.
2. This is a tie between DHS and AK. They are equal in our book, although I have a feeling on our return tirp that DHS will move into #2 spot solid because of Toy Story Midway mania!
3. Epcot. My kids are still young and this place doesn't offer us much. We loved the Nemo ride and spent a lot fo looking at the huge aquarium.

MK is our favorite. I cant wait to see that castle again. There is nothing like seeing the look in your little girls eyes the first time she sees that castle.
We didtn care too much for AK. Loved EE and Dinosaur, but other than that... it was okay. We were spent on our last day...which was Epcot. So we were already grouchy and nothign would have made us enjoy it there lol. Didnt go to HS. Plan on doing that next trip. Of course MK is first and foremost. just love that place!

Without my children, my list is like this:

MK - just magical and I enjoy nearly everything there! Love Wishes and Spectromagic is just - awesome.

EP - Soarin' is my favorite thing in all of WDW, I think. And I really enjoy the World Showcase. Illuminations is great!

HS - I really enjoy several of the rides/shows and Fantasmic.

AK - I like a few of the rides/attractions and I just love walking through the park.

Next week when I am there without my children I am planning two days at the MK and 1 day at Epcot - it should be just about right for me! If I could stay 1 more day I would do a morning at AK and an afternoon/evening at HS.

With my kids - hmmmm....the older kids feel about the same as I do. My 9yo likes them in this order - Epcot, MK, HS, AK. My 8yo tells me that MK is first, then EP and HS are tied and AK is last.

Funny - we all really enjoy the AK! It is just that we love the others more, see?

ETA: On our last trip, we had an 8 day ticket. Three days at the MK, 2 days at EP, 1 day at HS, 1 day at AK and 1 day split between HS and AK - everyone was happy!

AK- the best rides, scenery, theme, and is the coolest :cool2: park

MK- best food, awesome rides and attractions

EPCOT- I like the feel of traveling to the different countries and trying the different styles of food

DHS- its cool, but its just not my kinda place.

First it's DHS for Star Wars Weekend and doing everything SW related we can possibly do. Then it's MK for all it offers and WISHES. Next is EPCOT for an evening...doing half of the countries then Illuminations (we'll be back to EPCOT to finish later). Then DHS again for everything NOT Star Wars. Then AK with a side trip to DTD late evening. Then back to EPCOT to finish off the countries and rides plus character pix in Innoventions. And back to MK. We sprinkle resort and pool time, parades, fireworks, sit downs, tours, etc. in there and have a fabulous time:wizard: Usually 7-10 days.:goodvibes What is good about repeating parks is that weather can always be a factor on any given day.

Here's my order:

1. Magic Kingdom

2. Epcot

3. DHS

4. AK

I love the magic of MK, there's just nothing like it. Epcot comes in second for sure - even with having young children (5 and 3). We love all the countries, test track (my DD's favorite ride!), Nemo and also the wide openness of it - even when it's busy you can still comfortably walk around.

#1 Animal Kingdom: Love the cool, relaxed feeling of the greenery and natural setting and all of the animals, especially the gorillas. Our favorite ride is Kali River Rapids and our favorite show is Festival of The Lion King. There is just sooooo much to do and see at this park that we are going to dedicate 2 full days this year plus EMH.

#2 Magic Kingdom: It's just classic and you have to visit it if you are there.

#3 Epcot: LOVE the food choices and Test Track!

#4 Hollywood Studios: Fantasmic and TOT.
