What are your favorite places to view Spectromagic and Wishes?

Because our favorite part of Spectromagic is character interaction we always want to be as close as possible to the street. The two best places we have found are right in front of the train station on the side closer to Tony's. If you sit in front of the trash can you are practically on the street. From there I got invited to walk along with Ursula for a short while. My new favorite is in Liberty Square. There's a raised wall planter just to the side of the public stocks. The parade makes a 180 degree turn here so you see the characters straight on, along side and following behind. I got two big character hugs and lots of waves from this spot. Spectro is what makes Disney for me. I wouldn't miss it!

It is funny you said the train station. That is where I was thinking of watching the parades this year. I have a zoom for my camera should I bring it or will I not need it.

I would bring the zoom just in case.

However, I have a Sony Cybershot so it only zooms so far. What I normally do is download the pictures when I get home and then crop and enlarge them for a "closer" shot.

We watch from Main Street just above the circle with the Flag Pole.

Either side about 4 to 5 stores in is great. Pull up a piece of curb
about an hour before the start of Spectro and let the kids interact with the CM's.

I have found this a great spot to video Spectro and then into the middle
of the street to video Wishes. I prefer the right side when videoing
Spectro due to the way it comes around the circle to Main Street.

No matter what you decide these 2 plus Illumnations and Fantasmic
are my favorite things of our trip.
