Always looking for new things to try. What do you like to do for active/exercise type things? Not things you hate to do but force yourself to do because it's healthy ... but things you really enjoy.

I like walking, running, hiking, kickboxing, yoga, martial arts, some amount of gardening/yard work (when the weather is nice). I also like kayaking and biking but don't do those nearly as often as the others. The kayaking especially works muscles that don't get as much elsewhere, so I could really stand to do that more often.

i don't partake but my dh is ADDICTED to 'supernatural' on his vr. the guy has never been into exercise in his life but he got his headset 2 years ago and is probably in the best physical shape of his life. he's doing it right now and THRILLED that the halloween special for today is themed with the music from 'nightmare before christmas'.

None. None exercises. :rotfl2: I guess if I had to pick, I do enjoy yoga a lot. My problem is just getting me to take time to do it. I have a gym in my apartment complex, in fact I sit here looking at it every single day out my living room window, but do I get up and walk over there? No, no I don't. I keep saying I need to break in these new shoes for Disney, the weather is cool now, I have no excuses. ugh.

Getting out the door is definitely most of the battle! Even though I really enjoy all of mine, still sometimes inertia sets in and I just want to be lazy. I do most of my activities with others though, so that kind of keeps me accountable.

Walking, in Our local park and cemetery especially. Or on trails, through woods. Inside on the treadmill using iFit so I can walk just about anywhere in the world.

Bike riding. My balance isn’t so great anymore so I have a 3-wheeler. Inside, my exercise bike (recumbent) with iFit.

You hit on most of mine, especially running and kayaking. Two you didn't list but are a lot of fun are rowing and stand up paddle boarding. If you have a local rowing club it is a great way to meet new people in addition to exercise.

I enjoy walking on local trails—mostly through wooded areas. We have some with beautiful scenery. Gets harder as the weather gets colder though.

I used to love roller blading, but I don’t think I would do well with a fall now and I did occasionally fall.

Bicycling. You don't have to be a clown suited Lance Armstrong to reap the benefits of cycling. I'm trying to get back into it, but I'm now extremely susceptible to heat exhaustion so it's becoming quite difficult after 8-10 hours of extreme heat at work to go home and get on the bicycle.

I started out just an hour every day on a flat bike path (Allegheny River Trail.) Moved to the road and started climbing the hills of western PA. Then a buddy at work hooked me on touring for a week at a time riding 65-80 miles a day. I overheated and passed out and since then I leave work every day in the summer wondering if I'm going to make it home or if I should pull over into a parking lot and let myself pass out. I am finding it difficult to get home and decide to get on the bicycle at that point rather than take an ice cold shower and go pass out for half an hour.
