I'm just curious to hear what special adult beverages people like to indulge upon on their cruise. Do you have a tradition, like every sail away you drink a special drink?

I enjoy the coffee toldeo from Cove Cafe (Baileys, Kahlua, espresso, chocolate syrup and whipped cream) in the mornings.....I'm on vacation, why not?!

We love Baileys coffee in the Cove Cafe. In Meridian (on the newer ships) I always just get a scotch, but my wife likes to try all their specialty drinks. Same in Skyline lounge.

We have a tradition of hitting the Cove Bar right after we've done the buffet the day we board the ship and having a bon voyage beverage. Often its a Mai Tai, but sometimes we just tell the bartender to make us a nice fruity, rum drink.

After our embarkation lunch, we kick off the cruise with a dessert of BBCs. I usually start with my favorites, Tropical Depressions at the sail away party and those are what I have most days by the pool, and definitely on CC. Our afternoon there is always spent at the Heads Up Bar...great view, tropical music and yummy drinks.

My other must have on the Dream and Fantasy is the Creme Brulee Martini from Meridian Lounge. This is usually an after dinner drink for me.

My favorite? Whichever one Julian, Andrae, Predrag, Roland or Laura put in my hand on the Fantasy. Andrae makes a killer fresh rum punch.

OMG! The Texas Margarita from the Cadillac Lounge on the Disney Wonder (Xmas Cruise 2015). It was part of the Mixology Class. It really isn't the normal Texas Margarita, but in their version, they use jalapenos. If you like spicy things, this is something worth trying!
So worth it.

I like anything sweet - Long Island iced teas are one of my favorites. I have the recipe for the Konk Cooler, but made it with pineapple juice instead of passion fruit juice (couldn't find it anywhere), and used a strawberry colada mix instead of the regular pina colada mix and it came out fantastic!

Love the BBC and always order one on embarkation day. I also love the creme brûlée martini at Meridian.
