Right now DGD (11) is saying a pirate.. But - she has been known to change her mind at the last minute (they don't purchase costumes for her now that she's outgrown the little kids stuff), so who knows? I'll find out the "day of"..;)

DD13-Little Dead Riding Hood
DD8-Vampire
DD6-half angel, half devil
DS16-he's way too cool for any of that :cool2:

DD 14 Alice from Twilight

That's what I'm going to be!! :thumbsup2 I even got gold contacts. Well, that's what I'm going to be for one party.. I'm also dressing up as Thing 2 from The Cat in The Hat for a different Halloween party. My best friend is going to be Thing 1 and her little boy is going as The Cat in The Hat.

DS6 is a vampire
DS11 is a nerd

DS11 if being AC Milan David Beckham, and
DS 16 months is being the ubiquitous Gymboree skeleton!

Jane

My DS9 wanted the giant hotdog costume at Target-adult sized, so I got it for him today. It is really big, but it fits. Instead of being head to knee on an adult, it is head to floor hotdog on my kiddo. He loves it and keeps putting it on over and over. It is hysterical.

DS11 is not having as good luck. We bought another adult costume for him last night..a "couch potato", a 3D couch and a big potato on it. It does not fit well at all, so tomorrow we are hitting the last costume shop in town.

I was thinking of being Kim Kardashian, with a huge padded bottom, and huge padded chest. Then I realized: a) I have no place to wear it. b) I don't like her.

DD9 is going to be Pippi Longstocking

DS13 says nothing, but also said nothing last year and changed his mind 5 minutes before we left for a Halloween party. I ended up ripping up an old sheet and wrapping him up as a mummy. :)

OH I love Pippi Longstocking! I still have all my books from when I was little :)

I don't have kids, but my neighbour's kid is dressing up as Ballon Boy

My 10-year old DD will be Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter.

Her friend is going as Hermione. I think having two girls from different houses will look cute! I bought a graduation robe and an iron-on Ravenclaw patch to make it Hogswartish. We also picked up a white button-up blouse, a gray skirt, a gray sweater, a blue and white striped tie, a blue and white stripped muffler and sensible black shoes.

DD 6 is going to be Dororthy from Wizard of Oz

The two boys have not decided yet. The 12 year old is thinking Vampire. Our 9 year old is going in for surgery to remove a bone cyst so, he will be in a cast for Halloween. He will need something to cover it.
